Been a long while since I checked the forums.

The author releases average 2 chapters a day. Depending on his condition, work schedule, etc, he sometimes release just 1, or sometimes 3 or even more (sometimes for the previous missed updates or sometimes as an acknowledgement of new "alliance leader" rank fan from the Qidian website story fan ranking).

So I do think it will take a long while before the translation catches up. This is likely only after the book ends, to put into context, the author himself mentioned some time ago (around chapter 850 or so) that the book has reached around the halfway mark of his personal story outline. While I do wish he can write more, it does seem the book has about another 500 chapters or so, unless the author extends this.

I think 圣印 would likely translate to Sage Seal, although Saint Seal is also technically correct. Seal in this case is something similar to the imperial seals, and while the word 圣 would translate to either holy, sacred, saint and sage, I think Sage is a more likely term as it is more of a title for a well learned person over a holy saint. As it is, the 8th rank title 玄圣 translate to something like Mystical Sage, or less likely Mystical Saint.

 

Lol, I understand you and agree to some extend. However, since this forum is still technically "Latest Chapter Discussion", not entirely sure if there is a rule against creating multiple threads; sooner or later, the same discussion will happen all over again when the translation catches up.

 

It is actually called latest translated chapter discussion tho... I believe it was mentioned somewhere in the forums .. tho they dont ban talking in spoilers about stuff that the latest translation has not caught up to
