Beyond and the sequels and prequels to it is basically in a universe where the gods from what I remember gets reincarnated when they die. One man or God basically prefers spaceships and future tech so he combines them with magic he's pretty intelligent and ruthless but their more of a funny novel than what your after really. But anyone who messes with him or his current family gets butt whopped
Bear in mind slow release though. And yeah if you haven't done so Overlord is another one. His subordinates are manipulative he isn't but he's overpowered lol

Age of Adepts: MC will probably turn cold in future chapters Reverend Insanity will probably satiate your needs. Nowadays there is this new sub-genre featuring novels with similar cultivation system like 'Warlock of the Magus World'(magus, wizard, sorcerer, etc western fantasy stuff quite unlike Release that Witch), usually in these types of novels you are likely to find such MCs, but I noticed that none of them were as cold as 'Leylin', but I can't rule out the possibility that they will turn cold in future chapters, as I haven't read far ahead.
Yeah it's a good read kept me entertained. Decent quality too. He set the bar for rrl for me. I realised 99% of the novels on there don't get finished so I moved to here.

If you like the anime the novel is up to volume 9? Whilst their is also the wink wink hint hint fan fiction all the way up to volume 12? Or 11? I think. End of anime season 1 only goes up to volume 2-3?/4? Also novel describes more so you miss out on things on anime
