How do you deal with negative comments? I really don't care about people who don't like this or that or if someone has a better word or better translation, but I don't like having my integrity questioned. I recently had my integrity questioned as one chapter of a work I was translating mentioned DOTA. I was accused of adding things to the story to increase readership. Really? For the 8 people reading my translation? I think I feel pretty offended. The translations got taken down by wattpad, anyways, but... argh.
The question is, did you? And who are the fucktards that read both the raws and the translation to know?

Just ignore them. It's hard but remember there is someone in this world that would hate you and badmouth you just because you exist. If you think of it that way, those shits doesn't matter anymore.
You either ignore them or go completely berserk and curse them. Both options are good. I usually curse them and then ignore the bitches. If I were you, I'd post the link to the chapter which had the Dota reference, tell them which line, and then ask them why weren't they drowned at birth.

When somebody tells you crap like this there are several ways to deal with it. 1) do the mature thing and move on 2)do the slightly immature thing and ignore/report said person 3) Or and this one's my personal favourite tell this faggot what you think of him and what he can go do in a corner of the tiny basement of his parents house which he lives in like a hikineet troll. If it's a negative comments with good reasoning take the learning leave the bad words to hell because some people have harsh way to critique someone But in your case as long as that accusations is not true just leave it alone it will give you no good thing if you care too much Naybe that retard doesn't know that in translation there is a technique that allow translator adjust the content to be suited to the target reader so it's normal if sone translation sometimes have different literal line between the original and translated one
you should either censor or ban repeat offenders. Giving them another chance gives them another chance to do sh*t.
