I want to know the differences bettween light novel and web novel in death march.

    Most of all for curiosity.

I will most likely read both (Ln later) in the end.

Most of all in the long run!

from what I've read of the LN, much of the exploration of the first city is scraped, and the fights come quicker. Zen's intro is different, ratkin dude survives, Nadia is introduced later.
    It's much more...concise.

LN creates a few new combat encounters and limits the world exploration of the MC compared to WN (See flow chart)
For the LN, MC wakes up in game world, nukes Dragon Valley, fights last Lizardman Warrior (gains combat skills), MC runs to City, outside city fight Wyvern, rescues first wafiu, goes on date with waifu, rescues Beastkin girls, get trapped in labyrinth with beastkin girls, saves nobles and slave merchant, fights demon (while hiding from everyone else), gets arrested by lord, let go by lord, buys princess slaves, decides to become merchant.
For the WN, MC wakes up, nukes Dragon Valley, spends awhile in wasteland learning game mechanics and skills, investigate ruin village, arrives in city, investigate city in hopes to become a merchant (which is MC's cover), gets involved with fight with demon (straight up masked hero fight to learn combat skills), rescues first waifu, goes on date with waifu, begins to be introduced to the various merchants and shops and learns about magic, rescues beastkin girls, gets trapped in labyrinth with beastkin girls, rescuses noble and slave merchant, escapes labyrinth, returns to labyrinth by himself to kill demon whom created the labyrinth, heads to brothels with people he saved, buys princess slaves, begins career as merchant.

Every major event in the WN has occurred in the LN, but the details might be different. For instance
In the LN, the first waifu was saved while fighting a wyvern instead after fighting a demon. Also, the first appearance of the demon was when MC rescued the beastkin girls rather a previous battle a couple of days before (like in the WN). There are similar differences in the second novel.

    The first waifu is
Is indeed Zena. I was trying not to give away names while spoiling the first novel.

I read both. WN is significantly farther than the LN, and is still an enjoyable read. If you don't really want to read both at the same time, I'd say start with the WN then go and read the LN. Else you'll have to wait a long time for the LN version to catch up.
