Warning though, this novel is hard to MTL. It's because of the names and sentence structure I think.

Oh, and here's a rough translation of the original summary:

This is a story about a male god and his transmigrated loyal servant.

At first it's like this,

Male god: Since you love me so much, I'll bear with your love for me.

And then it became like this,

Male god: So surprisingly, you didn't love me at all, you just transmigrated back in time! *throws sleeves*

And in the end it was like this,

Okay, by now I'm pretty sure MTL is spinning circles around me again. MC and ML are in a demonic/unorthodox sect. That Cao guy is a Righteous sect infiltrator who killed a lot of Evil sect side ppl in MC's past life. So he took the opportunity (now he has the knowledge) to get rid of him.

More spoilers...

I'm up to where ML somehow sees what happened in the past life (MC got caught in an illusion, ML already got out of his and is trying to get MC out of his). He sees MC carrying around his coffin and defending it against endless waves of enemies. Then MC opens coffin and rearranges ML's hair/appearance, then closes coffin and begins cycle of killing enemies again when they come. Everyone wants ML's body because a high-level cultivator's body = treasure of heaven and earth = great for refining into a tool. Of course, MC doesn't want ML's body to come to the indignity of being scrapped for tools. It's really heartbreaking and during this see-no-touch course of events, ML realizes that he's in love with MC while MC just has a lot of respect for him. ML breaks the illusion by marching up to MC while the final tomb was getting built and frenching him -- ML figured out that straightforward approach was only way MC was going to snap out of it and realize that ML was actually alive. It's not a super pleasant kiss though, as it says in the novel, because ML is venting his anger at 1) mistakingly thinking that MC liked him and falling in love with MC himself, 2) MC getting stuck in illusion and his 'stupid/foolish' actions in the memories. ML worries about MC's simple mindset a lot, ahahaha~ Now begins plotting to get MC's heart. LOL.

Before that, they had a showdown with the Bai guy who was cause of ML's death previous time around. We learn that ML has one of those special bodies ('pure spirit body') that gives him super cultivation boost, leading a bunch of people (before he learned better) to try to kill him or use him as a live tripod furnace for their own cultivation. He's also been looking for a way to purify/give an extra boost to his own body, so that's what he plans on doing to Bai guy as revenge. Bai guy also gets made into a mindless/soulless corpse puppet by ML. I'm pretty sure (MTL being confusing again) that ML ripped out Bai guy's dantian/neidan as revenge for injured MC and gave it to MC to repair himself.

 

Wow, thanks. That was unexpectedly dark. This would be the first dark BL story I would read if I ever do read it. I normally go for more comedy...

 

how does the ml spoil the mc? (also do we know what happened with the ml's ody in the past life?)

Not as grim as it sounds lol, the story's actually handled in a way that it reads almost lightly. Just my summary sounds grim. XD

Think ML's body got buried properly in tomb at the end by MC.

MC gets spoiled by ML... Well, ML treats him pretty well. ML throws a bunch of spirit stones at MC like they're worth nothing, but MC scrimps and saves -- this makes ML angry because he meant for MC to use them to treat himself to something good. Actually, ML gets angry a lot when his 'nice' actions get misinterpreted a lot by MC... LOOOOOL

Like MC buying a refine/enchant for his dagger but ML scowling a lot because HE'S a refiner/enchanter on the side himself, he's much better than that trash guy MC hired. Why didn't MC ask him?!? And he grabs the dagger and adds better enchants himself before giving it back.

ALL OF MC'S ACTIONS. LOL. THEY ARE SO DECEPTIVE.

Like one of the first things MC does after having a talk with ML is to swear on his soul (SUPER HEAVY PLEDGE) that he'll be loyal and trustworthy. It's literally swearing on his soul because if he deviates, his cultivation realm is going to be broken. And MC keeps thinking about ML and throwing his life in front of him and other things that make ML think, 'oh, this guy has an immense crush/love for me.'

But MC is really simple-minded, remember... It's just immense respect......

Cue ML's anger when he discovers just how worryingly simple-minded and pure MC is. Also because he fell in love.

 

how does the ML figure out that the mc is simple minded?

 

MC's actions. MC isn't stupid, but he's very... pure. He doesn't deviate beyond a few simple goals and he treats everything very seriously. He can't plot or scheme for the life of him, either.

 

How did someone so pure like MC ended up serving the leader of the Devil sect?

 

MC is an orphan and we can assume he got picked up by the sect very young. Even assassin training didn't change him. LOL.
