When I am MTL long time ago, I think I remembered that Spoiler MC's real mom and dad has a son named Feng Cang, but he died young. Then ML get adopted, as his background is a bit special, ML became Feng Cang. That's why no one know that ML is adopted and only the parents and ML knows...

The emperor has a screw loose in his head. When he knew that MC is Ming Yue's daughter, and the fact that MC and ML is too love to each other.. he silently approved their relationship. Behind people's back the MC and ML still lovey dovey (after MC know that ML is adopted).
