Why? It's an open discussion. Opinions will sometimes clash.

It will just die down once no one post anymore.

 

I didn't really expect someone who could lock it to actually ask why? I was just trying to remove myself from the conversation while withholding all the negative shit I really want to say.

As to reason to consider actually doing it:
Because I'm about a hair's breadth from going from discussing the topic to insulting people, just about every opinion on the issue that can be expressed has been, and it's not as if anyone here is going to come to any sort of agreement besides agreeing to disagree anyways.

I say insulting people but it's not really a mean spirited thing, it's simply expressing how I actually view them. They'd probably be insulted by it but as far as I'm concerned it's just stating facts. It's the difference between calling a fat man fat mockingly and just stating the fact the he is fat.
