    Really?
    You are NOT a true novel reader if you can't live the experience of the MC and interact with his/her feelings while reading the novel.

    the whole point of reading fictional novels is to see/experience the world/different world from another perspective you don't necessarily have to see your self as the main character. But to feel nothing from the interactions in the novel means that its a bad novel or you are being preoccupied by something else, if not that means you read it just for it to be informative and if that is the case you are better off reading educational/historical books that way you grow and do something you like
