i managed to locate a site to get interesting games thanks to one of my seniors here and chanced upon the dynasty warriors series , and so i have a few questions do all the games open to pc have the option of customizing characters aside from originally choosable ones, and if not which ones do? also will i be able to understand the gameplay from any game in the series or do i need to start from early releases to get an idea on the game . thanks in advance.
Most of that series and stuff like Romance of The Three Kingdoms games have the "historic" characters and the "custom" characters at least on PC. You don't need to know or have played the series before it's kinda like CoD that way, same setting "better" engine/gameplay/graphics etc.
i am just starting the whole dynasty warrior thing, and trying to choose between dynasty warriors empires 8 and dynasty warriors 8 : extreme legends
The game play is mostly same with normal version. If you want to use custom char, go ahead. it will not disturb your game play. The difference is DW8 empire doesn't have any specific stories. It follow your character building his/her dynasty. Heck, even I made all my char retainers custom character
Hmmm from what i know, some dynasty warrior on pc are like dynasty warrior for ps2 with extreme legend in their title.that include custom character. All i played before were have custom creation. No need to play previous series since after 5 they make really new concept for the game. but i prefer dw 5 than later.. since obtain 4th weapon give more challenge than killing lu bu at hu lao gate in dw 5 and in later version, they remove this feature and i abandoned many sequel for dw until they brought back 4th weapon challenge.
oh~ never play it here my experience empire : make your own kingdom with some strategy to build kingdom still same hack and slash extreme legend~ geez it just add extra mission for main game I mean there new scenario for each kingdom story~ hmm I forget destiny mode on extreme legend or empire though~
Extreme legend usually make sure you enjoy the game with the background of "raising your name into great general from nobody" by adding custom creation chara. Empires... more like they give you how it would like to try conquerring a land as warlords not.only by h&s but by using your brain in same time ..
