Question Emperor's Domination question

So ED- I want to know if i should get back into this series ( I dropped it around chapter 120 I think just when he leaves the group at the giant tree). My problem ------->

My main concern is that the MC drops the side characters, what i mean does he drop everyone? keep some? Like does anyone continue to follow him afterwards?

This is a concern after reading the reviews for it.

 

To answer your question, he does keep some people but he leaves em off and on again, as the novel progresses if the spoilers are anything to go by he will have a lot emphasis on LOT of followers many of them pretty girls with above average potential. The series is regardless pretty good, just don't get too overly attached to any one side character.

 

Well, I'm up to date and the ones with him have changed but even just now his original followers are mentioned. The cast is growing increasingly ridiculous though so I have no doubt most of them will either die or be left behind by the story.

 

Well I feel he is kind of planning 100 things everyday, and has to head everywhere to pull them off. but eventually he'll make his way back to them.

 

Li Shuangyan and Chen Baojiao are still pretty relevant. He's just not in the Grand Middle Territory right now.

 

I think he will keep all the beautiful talented maids and leave behind the rest

 

I guess for this incarnation of MC, he doesn't plan of dropping side characters/helpers as he is now a human and could already cultivate

 

Whenever he goes to a new world he leaves the people(women) he recruited behind and finds more people(women) in the next.

Just my own guess... I think many will be dropped only to be seen way later throughout the story since most of the MC's actions are done due to old debts or connections. This can be seen when he educates characters only to later distance himself by making them his students or maids. Furthermore, there are NINE WORLDS worth of arrogant and domineering young masters/ princes/ chosens waiting to become his grandsons. Lastly, the MC has acknowledged multiple times that his dao path is lonely and mentions how many of his comrades have tried and failed in accompanying him in his path.

 

Theres a tenth world too, latests raws hint to a more powerful world after the tenth too

I'm only at the latest translation but that's great news. I can only assume that immortal emperors go to the tenth world when they meet certain conditions.

Yea because he doesn't give a fuck about beauty or anybody. You mess with him and he'll beat the shit out of you. It's better than novels where the side characters are used as hostage to kill MC all the times.

 

I think you should read it again. It's a very good novel I think~

 

I'd say pick it up... Suggestion: read until the end of the Underworld Boat Arc and then decide whether or not to drop the novel.
