Is it just me or do any of you guys think that Qi Rong is stupid? If Senior Yue's soul is in a different body, then shouldn't that person be Senior Yue, even if they don't have the memories? I just MTL'd some chapters ahead (don't ask how many...) And I found out something CRA~ZY... Spoiler: Xiao Family and Yao Family So The Xiao Family people let the family who destroyed Xiao Yun (MRY and XF's direct ancestor) and made him leave the central region in disgrace. The Family is a branch of the Yao family, who are a Big Power around the area that usually doesn't meddle in affairs (but branch families do). So while MC is doing her thing, they try and force her brother to marry this Yao girl (and resign MC to the date of being Yao brother's concubine). They try and douse him with an aphrodisiac and make him commit an act with her (So he'd feel obligated to marry her) But who is his sister again? Our Enchanting MC who foils their plan. And then, to add insult to injury, Yao Yunqing, the girl MC picked out to marry her brother, shows up, proves herself to be a direct descendant of the Yao family, and disciplines the two siblings for trying to lay a hand on her "fiance" (now she admits it) and her BFF. This not only shocks the Yao family, but the Xiao schemer too, who didn't think it would end like this. MC starts getting justice for her ancestor Xiao Yun's matter. I'm still MTLing but this is looking up for now. Get 'em!
