I've been looking for awhile but I haven't really found any good English web-novels, other than the few on stories online (http://storiesonline.net/home.php), but for the most part they generally only include stories with sex. While I have nothing against sex in stories, a lot of them are just porn with plot, which tends to be boring rather fast.

Does anyone else have any hidden gems they've found in the dark abyss we call the internet?

Actually Daybreak on Hyperion is a really good example. I've also read through a lot of whats on Royalroad, but I've already read the majority of the ones with any real length.
The NTR in subjugation does kinda irritate me. Thankfully its only really a ever a small part, and becasue of the specific culture of "sharing" about it, we never really have a lot of detail on it. Thankfully.

Going back to the topic at hand though, I was more focusing on any English Webnovels or Stories that have a decent length. I know a lot of the translations we get from Japan and China are just their best, and that we skip over a lot of the less popular/shorter novels, but we should have some English equivalent. Most of the current Xianxia translations have over 1000 chapters(or close to it).
Can anyone think of any long English ones?

My current English Web-Novel Reading List (not counting ones already mentioned above):
    1. From Winter's Ashes (My favorite Novel, updates on Sundays).
    2. Curveball (True Super-hero style series of the X-Men era).
    3. The Iron Teeth (MC is a Goblin serving humans in a Witcher style era, the so-called Dark Fantasy).
    4. No Man an Island (Only read the first few chapters, but its really good.)

    Xianxia Style Original English Novels:
    1. Blue Pheonix
    2. Taint.

Stories with not that much plot, but good in there own rights:
    1. Stone Burners (Like Worm, but not that much plot. Enough to keep you wanting to read more).
    2. Starwalker (About a [somehow] sentient ship)
    2. Void Domain. (Has Demons).

    Edit:
Novels Online is a site attached to Web Fiction Guide, which has a HUGE collection of novels. The Novels here are listed by rank, based on both quality of writing [both vocabulary and how well the story is delivered], as well as the plot.

There is one I know about but I don't think it quite fits with what you expect from a novel so yeah. I will post it maybe you read a bit and like it, who knows. Anyways is called Pact and is about a world in which magic is real but hidden, kinda and that most magic is pretty dark, you follow an MC who may or may not be the MC (you won't get this until the very end or close to it, that by when this becomes a spoiler you will have already been told so in the story.) as he inherits a pretty fucked up karmic debt from his not so innocent grandmother who totally screws him over and ends up dropping down on him the legacy of one of the nastiest kind of mages that exist, that being demonologist. Also everyone in the surrounding magical community knows and hates him for it they want him dead but fear making too obvious a move or he may just snap and release the hounds. So yeah pretty cool story with interesting characters and some interesting world building.

Yes, I wrote all my stories in English. If I can write in Japanese, I would've submitted it to syousetsu and get an LN contract. I'm that awesome lol

    *shameless plug on*
As for Felicia's Second Life, it's going to come out in early January. Many things cropped up and I won't be able to release it by Christmas :( But as apology, I'll add a more serious map that I originally planned for the EXTRA version. The EXTRA version will only be released if the BASIC version sells enough to justify a beefed up Book 1 with illustration and other extras, though. The story will still be the same.

But don't worry, I won't take down the online web novel at my blog, so those who can't buy can still read it. The LN addressed plotholes and is written better, though. Those who buy the BASIC will also get a discount if they want to buy the EXTRA version later.
    *shameless plug off*

I also have some stories at storiesonline, but I haven't updated it in years. My story, Vendetta, under the pseudonym Shin Eris received some praises. Currently it's at 7.36 average rating, which is considered pretty good for post-apocalyptic stories (Vendetta is in the Top 10 for post-apocalypse stories). I simply haven't had the inspiration to update it although I have the story already mapped to the third book. Actually it was more because my tablet died and I lost a god damned lot of progress. I was so pissed by it that I have not updated Vendetta since.

Question; the main page says Gender-Bender. Is this the cross-dressing kind or the permanent Gender Change kind?
