I thought you were off to summer school lol My favourite song is stairway to heaven by led Zeppelin Spoiler: Stairway to heaven There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway to heaven. When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed With a word she can get what she came for. Ooh, ooh, and she's buying a stairway to heaven. There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure 'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings. In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings, Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven. Ooh, it makes me wonder, Ooh, it makes me wonder. There's a feeling I get when I look to the west, And my spirit is crying for leaving. In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees, And the voices of those who stand looking. Ooh, it makes me wonder, Ooh, it really makes me wonder. And it's whispered that soon, if we all call the tune, Then the piper will lead us to reason. And a new day will dawn for those who stand long, And the forests will echo with laughter. If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now, It's just a spring clean for the May queen. Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run There's still time to change the road you're on. And it makes me wonder. Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know, The piper's calling you to join him, Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know Your stairway lies on the whispering wind? And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our soul. There walks a lady we all know Who shines white light and wants to show How everything still turns to gold. And if you listen very hard The tune will come to you at last. When all are one and one is all To be a rock and not to roll. And she's buying a stairway to heaven.

A Favorite Of Mine By Stephen Crane: Spoiler "Truth," said a traveller, "Is a rock, a mighty fortress; Often have I been to it, Even to its highest tower, From whence the world looks black." "Truth," said a traveller, "Is a breath, a wind, A shadow, a phantom; Long have I pursued it, But never have I touched The hem of its garment." And I believed the second traveller; For truth was to me A breath, a wind, A shadow, a phantom, And never had I touched The hem of its garment. by Stephen Crane
My Favourite Song Is: Carry On Wayward Son By Kansas :.. Spoiler Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more Ah Once I rose above the noise and confusion Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man Though my mind could think I still was a mad man I hear the voices when I'm dreaming, I can hear them say Carry on my wayward son, There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more Masquerading as a man with a reason My charade is the event of the season And if I claim to be a wise man, Well, it surely means that I don't know On a stormy sea of moving emotion Tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean I set a course for winds of fortune, But I hear the voices say Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more no! Carry on, You will always remember Carry on, Nothing equals the splendor Now your life's no longer empty Surely heaven waits for you Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry, Don't you cry no more, No more!
I like the poem Xia Da quote on her works. Solitary rabbit Hustling east and bustling east Clothes are best when new Human best when old Spoiler
Song --> the best Poems I wish I could stop crying, I wish I didn't have to try, On the outside im smiling But inside im dying ~~~ Do Not Speak of the Dead Cecilia Llompart I was born among the bodies. I was hurried forward, and sealed a thin life for myself. I have shortened my name, and walk with a limp. I place pebbles in milk and offer them to my children when there is nothing else. We can not live on cold blood alone. In a dream, I am ungendered, and the moon is just the moon having a thought of itself. I am a wolf masked in the scent of its prey and I am driven—hawk like—to the dark center of things. I have grasped my eager heart in my own talons. I am made of fire, and all fire passes through me. I am made of smoke and all smoke passes through me. Now the bodies are just calcified gravity, built up and broken down over the years. Somewhere there are phantoms having their own funerals over and over again. The same scene for centuries. The same moon rolling down the gutter of the same sky. Somewhere they place a door at the beginning of a field and call it property. Somewhere, a tired man won’t let go of his dead wife’s hand. God is a performing artist working only with light and stone. Death is just a child come to take us by the hand, and lead us gently away. Fear is the paralyzing agent, the viper that swallows us living and whole. And the devil, wears a crooked badge, multiplies everything by three. You—my dark friend. And me.
I dunno about poetry ,but i love the poet and singer-songwriter Silvio Rodriguez Ojala Oleo a una mujer con sombrero La Maza Beautiful music and lyrics. In english i guess Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen is stunning. Even more performed by Jeff Buckley.
this is my fave song Spoiler "This Song Saved My Life" I wanna to start by letting you know this Because of you my life has a purpose You helped me be who i am today I see myself in every word you say Sometimes it feels like nobody gets me Trapped in a world where everyone hates me There's so much that I'm going through I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you [Chorus:] I was broken I was choking I was lost This song saved my life I was bleeding Stopped believing Could have died This song saved my life I was down I was drowning But it came on just in time This song saved my life Sometimes I feel like you've known me forever You always know how to make me feel better Because of you, my dad and me Are so much closer than we used to be You're my escape when I'm stuck in a small town I turn you up whenever I feel down You let me know like no one else That it's OK to be myself [Chorus] You'll never know what it means to me That I'm not alone That I'll never have to be [Chorus 2x] [4x] My life, my life (This song saved my life)
My favourite poems would be 'Weather', 'Invictus', and 'Ozymandias'. I can't claim to be well-versed in poetry. As for music, I guess that I enjoy most music by The Beach Boys, The Dave Clark Five, and I also enjoy classical music.
Jabberwocky from Alice Through the Looking Glass~ Spoiler `Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch! He took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought -- So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood awhile in thought. And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came! One, two! One, two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back. And, has thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy. Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.
