    DE at the moment.

I could like Swallowed Star but I hated the MCs because he's dumb and doesn't get his priorities straight. Priorities such as strengthening himself.
Giving 30 billion to his crippled brother that can be healed through prosthetics which obviously cost less than that amount. There might be cyborg prosthetics that could improve someone's physical capabilities too! Additionally, you still need to do therapy for both cases.
If the crippled brother accepted his offer, I'd get more upset since the crippled brother is an economic 'genius'. If he can't even get the cost versus benefits of having this treatment, I don't even know why he became a millionaire through trade.

I love Desolate Era and Lord Xue Ying (so far). Coiling Dragon I liked for a while but when the romance started showing up I got kind of bored. I plan on checking out Stellar Transformation in a bit.

    I'd say
    1. 9 cauldrons
    2. CD
    3. Swallowed star

Sure it's a shame he has a heart and wants to cure his crippled brother in exchange of an affordable amount of money instead of using it on some gear, the story is ruined...
Tastes do tell something about one's personality, your parents must be proud.

In CD the love story part is really small you just have to wait a few chapters, you're missing a great story afterwards.

I did suggest to cure his brother with other methods. I mean, it's the future, isn't prosthetics well developed? There are monsters out there and being crippled is one of the risks of a fighter, but they retire or they rely on an expensive medicine.

Additionally, from the income he's getting, 30 billion seems to be the end goal rather than his short/mid term goal. His brother, being an economic 'genius', have the character/personality to decline this amount of money.

Yeah, my parents are proud. Not on the way you're implying obviously.

Swallowed star, simply because its setting is the most different out of all IET novel.
I'm not sure, several month ago I would ranked ST and CD as my favorite, but no I only follow the story for the sake of seeing the end. IET's novel tend to deteriorate in later chapter after all.

Swallowed Star and Stellar Transformation are my favorites. I liked Coiling Dragon but I got up to the part right after they leave the tomb place, and Idk why I just lost interest. IET's romances leaves a lot to be desired but his world building is pretty good. Some of the stories I've seen mentioned in this thread I need to look up since the titles at least sound interesting.

Definitely Stellar Transformations right now. It was nice watching him grow up from inferiority into what he is now. He can be smart at times and stupid at times, which is a balance I suppose. The only complaint I would have is that he gets too strong too quickly. Takes people forever to reach a stage, but he can just get there in a few years. Oh, gosh. But that's a thing for all Xianxias, so it's not much of a turn-off.

( Let this thread live again! )

Hm... I'm missing Stellar Transformations right now.
One of my favorite authors is I Eat Tomatoes. Not just because I like tomatoes(hehe!) but more importantly because those novels are my first reads.

Coiling dragon also, was one of my first.
Also, did you want to raise your Thread Necromancy level instead of making a new Thread? This one is older than 2 years.

I love ST about how unique his cultivation is. Creating your own universe from a scratch till completely formed, inside your body. Though sometimes he do something dumb, but overall is quite satisfying for me.
