I don't known if it's just me but have you realize that female protagonist can't get a break from all their troubles. For once i just wish to see a female who just say ' Whatever' and just beat the crap out of the person giving them hell. If male protagonist can do why can't the female. The female comes out of one trouble only to jump into another, out of the pot and into the fire.

    Tell what you guys think

I think the amount and frequency of crap that they have to go through is the same as the male's side though. Or did I not read enough novel with female MC?

Well i think the author actually hates their female protagonist and spends more time fantasizes over the male lead(s). ;)

I think it depends on the genre there are a lot of stories with Male protagonist going from one fire to the next. So try different genres and you will get one like the way you want. Ones that come off the top of my head are Demon Girl ~Tale of a Lax Demon~, The Girl Who Ate a Death God, and The Girl Who Bore the Flame Ring. There are more were the Female protagonist beats the crap out of people.

I dunno seems to be more translated male MC over female MC but so far the rend I see is the female MC aren't allowed to "beat up" an enemy, they either have to use poison or "spirit animal" to do the fighting for them

Dont several male protagonists have it just as bad, if not worse?

When they look left or right, rich masters with a NTR fetish pop out.

When they look behind, they see a old and powerful fart chasing them to take revenge cos thw MC beat their kids.(I call BS. They just want the MC's pure ass for 'dual cultivation')

And you always have squealing jade fangirls, who lack brains cos all the nutrition went to their chest in front of them.

A sad and boring life. Female MC's have it better. Even in a culitvation novel, these gals actually have decent romance!! Male MC's need to learn sonething from them

I think there's too much of this in general, regardless of gender.

The thing is there's a lot more of novels with male protagonists so you can still find other things while there's fewer alternatives for females.

You haven't read many novels if you think only (or primarily) female MCs encounter endless trouble.
Literally every step male (or female) MCs take is intruding on some young master or boss's territory. Not getting any breathing room is not something unique to female MCs.
This isn't what I think, but simple facts.

Think about the crap male xianxia/wuxia/xuanhua protagonists go through. All types of protagonists, whether male or female need such crap difficulties to get through before they gain enough power, whether physical, political or dao, to be OP masters that they will be.

Your opinion on females protagonists who can't get a break is completely ridiculous. Even male protagonists don't get a break. Heck, the gender doesn't matter, all kinds of protagonists don't get breaks. That's the curse of being an MC...

What would the novel be about during the "break"? Just think about novels with closed door cultivation, when a character literally sits on his ass for a millennia, stuff like this is a single line. If nothing happens in a novel, the novel won't go on, thus, no break for main-characters that lasts longer than a line or two ;)

This is about the same thing I think, pretty much all MCs usually don't get a break, because otherwise... There wouldn't be much of a story to tell.

There are some exceptions though, mainly for Slice of Life novels... However, the times in which the MC is having a break, are just called "time skip"...
