I know this is weird but I keep thinking the city is a battlefield, legendary, ancient legacy for modern xianxia in real life even though maybe it's fatamorgana or mirage or whatever it is...but maybe it's related too cultivation? I don't know... can you give me your though to this teenager with overflowing imagination? what do you think?
Also, i dont care what those nay-sayers said, that shit's gotta have been the ancient city that had once housed the Infernal Demon sect. I had heard tell of it in legends, the City of Frozen Mists....the City of Broken Shadows....i think that, after the Great Sundering, the floating city would have been completely lost to the 6th dimension which was home to the Ethereal Wanderers. This must be that city, there can be no doubt. The question is, what happened to the Infernal Demon sect? Did they die out? Did they escape the Battle of the Seven Divine Empires? Or...could it be that they had ascended to the God Realm, as some legends speak of?
So that's where my city went off to. I've been looking all over for it. The chain broke when I was walking it at the park the other day and it just floated away. By the time I could hire an assault helicopter it was long gone.

See, what you have to understand is that the ancient city is trapped within the 6th dimension, and is the City of Frozen Mists...what this means is that a sort of resonance happened, because the city itself has always been protected by a very powerful illusion barrier so no one could find it. But the 6th dimension is a realm that deals with dreams, illusions and other semi-physical entities or constructs. But at the same time, it also mirrors the entire scope of human history. All things that can or will happen within human history, all exists within the 6th dimension! Which means that the ancient city also now mirrors the modern world. This could easily have been a city that mirrored any other age in history. The fact that it's mirroring a modern city is a very rare occurance. I tihnk that perhaps this means the city is still connected to this realm, to THIS timeline! This version of the world! And what could that mean? It potentially means that the Infernal Demon sect is active....perhaps not all of them still live, or maybe some ascended to the God Realm, but at the very least it's possible that they yet live inside the ancient city. What we see is a mere shadow, an illusion, its the face but not the heart. I think that the ancient city must still be protecting itself, and casts its shadow over certain parts of the world because the 6th dimension is wildly affecting its base formula and increasing it's power all at once, making it able to appear here in the first place! If it were not so, how would something of the 6th dimension appear in this mortal plane? The only thing that i wonder right now is...Were they the only ones that survived, or did parts of the Seven Divine Empires survive as well? Whats more, did the Seven heavenly Sage-Emperors survive? And if so...how long till they once more take up arms against each other, resulting in another Great Sundering? The thought is frightening to the extreme....
