The only thing I remember is one part where MC (and his group?) has to go somewhere to collect some herbs(?). There was another group which was basically a bunch of kids, I think... Though I say they're kids, they're specially trained or something. Can't remember exactly.
And if I'm not mistaken, MC knows one of them, and so they end up kinda helping MC & co.
MC protects them, and they help gather the herbs for MC.

Long Live Summons, they went into the abyss for hell training to pick an herb to heal wounded soldiers. Because his group did not know how to pick the herb, they could only guard the younger kids who did.

Yes it is when ye kong got his beetle. I do not believe he knew any of the children. However after the buds bloom and the event afterwards ends one of them runs up to him and cries into his chest because she was afraid he died.

 

The kid was the princess of the empire i beileve it was princess qians little sister

 

He knew the princess because he saw her playing with his cousin Shuang-er if I recall correctly.

 

I would have to read it again, its been awhile since ive re-read LLS and that event was a minor part of the arc, even the characters seemed to just be filler so most of it got indexed away as irrelevant lol.
