a sequel for okami does exist though, called okamiden for DS. i'm not sure how it is since I've never played it though.
looks like MML 3 got a pretty raw deal. "not enough interest from fans" that went to their special site. sounds like they did a horrible job, and wanna brush it under the table. shame.
MML [PSOne] series was my first action RPG ever, not before I knew about Gothic [PC]. Damn I miss that glorious era of RPG game.
Technically, Those 2 games got their sequels via WoW and SWTOR respectively as the stories continued on in those games. I second that. As for me, I'd like another Strategy/RPG game like Neverwinter Nights. Especially now that DnD's 5th Ed is turning out better than that abomination that is the 4th Ed but then... The "complex" system of DnD apparently doesn't play well with today's casual gamers who wouldn't know a d6 from a d20. A shame that things need to be dumbed down for today's generation.
But DeSu is different worldline. TWEWY is close-ended, right? Or you want to see Neku x Eri / Neku x Joshua?
Well i always wanted a desu3 ._. instead we got overclocked and record breaker...which arent bad but they spent too much time on those instead of 3 Q.Q
Fair enough. Personally, I'd prefer a Star Wars RPG game that isn't Jedi-Centric. Preferable one that focuses on Mandalorians.
I wish the halo sequels after 3 had been made by bungie, and even though I know it will never happen, I've always wanted a Bloodborne sequel. Like, we have Dark Souls 3, but the gameplay is fundamentally different than Bloodborne. Plus, I really like the lore and world. Actually, now that I think about it, I wish the Halo sequels after 3 had never been made. The franchise should've stopped then.
I agree with you both, Warcraft 3 is probably the only game that I'd really want to see a sequel of. In the past, I did want sequels for other games, however, as time passed and more and more big neverending franchises with poor written endings and stories that get worse with each installment are being made, like the Assassin's Creed or the Dragon Age Series (I'll refrain to mention games like CoD or PES games in here since the need for sequels they have is completely different), I end up wishing more and more for games that end in themselves. Maybe a trilogy at most, games in general have a really hard time to keep a continuous storyline and a quality game if they go beyond that, specially if they use a choices system like bioware likes to... Will probably never play a Dragon Age game again after the 3rd one... I personally disagree, while WoW can be indeed used as a sequel, the poor storyline of the Wrath of Lich King and Burning Legion expansions and the vastly different gameplay of it, make me prefer to think of it as a non-canon spin off more than anything. It gives me a better peace of mind to consider that kind of game a spin off instead of a real continuation of the series... Even if Blizzard considers it canon themselves.
