If you have the money buy the 600w, but if not 500w. Either way you should concentrate on cpu/gpu/ram instead of the power supply if either 500w/600w work. I would suggest using pcpartpicker to figure which psu you want.

You can't go wrong with more power. Saves having to buy a new PSU when you decide to upgrade something and find out that you don't have enough power. Also with PC's, go big or go home. The more money you invest, the longer your PC parts will last in terms of being able to run future programs/games, etc.

power supply is always nice to round up, esp when you upgrade your graphics card in the future.

When you use discrete graphics, better go with more power, preferably with extra efficiency rating.

If its like that, there was a post earlier where 2 websites were given where you could figure out how many watts the psu needs, Use that and figure out which is better.

at 500W: the 1050 ti takes 300W of power alone, leaving 200 for the rest, typically CPU + mobo can take anywhere from 10-150 ( 54 W for your planned CPU probably want to add another 50 for mobo then aswell) that doesnt leave much left for rest of the devices.

    G4560 - 54W TDP
GTX 1050 ti - 75W+ TDP (Depends on branding, 75W is GeForce)
    RAM 2x4gb 2133Mhz - Assuming DDR3 ram, 3W (1.5W per RAM slot)
    1tb Toshiba p300 - 3.5in HDD: About 6-10W

    Total Watts: 133W
Verdict: Either really. Honestly as long as your manufacturer is trusted, you won't have problems. The lowest I would go for a power supply is maybe 300-400W as you want to keep a decent headroom in case you add more components to your PC over time.

those are just the meter how a psu can supply at most, it doesnt really mean it provides 600watts all the time

    fyr :)

Pardon? Care to source the 300W for the 1050 Ti? GeForce's own site states that the GPU alone takes 75W and the minimum power for the SYSTEM is 300W.

    thats BS
ive got a 1070 and it wouldnt even reach 200 of wattage on maximum stress
1050ti could only reach of 75 at maximum wattage in full stress

dunno which games you are going to play but I think it's better to have atleast 16 GB ram for the near future instead of high quality high speed ram sticks

there are some minor things that may affect the requirement.

if you plan to connect many case fans, HDDs/SSDs, disk drives or what not, getting a 600w would be better.

if you are going minimalist, 500w would definitely suffice.

right now your pc is enough for 400w
but if you plan to upgrade your gpu and apu upto a combination of i5 and 1080, go 650w.

your gtx 1050ti only requires 75W.

When you're picking a power supply, some things need to be considered.
    1) if you want it to be silent running, you have to make sure you only draw about 30-40% of the given power.
    2) How many drives/devices are you going to plug to the computer? SSD has low requirement, hdd is normal, disc drives need plenty of power, not to mention external USB peripherals. Lacking power would result your USB devices acting up.

Thinking that Picking a higher PSU wattage would draw more power from the plug is a myth. (Well, at least its negligible) So i would recommend 600 watt if you can spare the money, although 500 watt is plenty enough if you dont plug more than 3-4 drives on your computer.
