Well, my taste in music is kajiura. Looking for anime with good/epic BGM (not only OP/ED)? not necessarily have to be Yuki Kajiura.

I'd suggest anything with Iwashiro Tarou as the composer.

Suisei no Gargantia would be a start.

EDIT: He's also known in the west for composing for the film Red Cliff and the Korean martial arts mmorpg Blade & Soul.

He doesn't use choirs like Kajiura Yuki does (who I adore, by the way!) but I think his music qualifies as epic.

For choirs though, maybe Shikata Akiko? Her music is pretty dramatic in its own way too and she typically uses a lot of choir work:

Have you tried Erementar Gerard's OST. Well it came out before.. 2015 but it is also from Yuki Kajiura and similar to SAO's OST. To bad..none of the osts are uploaded on youtube though, but I can upload a few of my favorite tracks from it if you want. Also, its really rare for an OST to be full of great tracks so I usually make a playlist out of the select few tracks from all the OSTs I've went through. I really should upload.. my playlist one day... but I'm just never in the mood. Oh yeah, try listening to some of the OSTs from the Atelier series even though its a game. It's one of my favorite RPGs and has alot of great soundtracks. But.. alright this may be what your looking for. Maybe.

Yes Rewrite... one of the series full of great tracks and rearrangements, well.. it is from Key so it's expected.
