I've heard the adsense team dislikes copyrighted content so I'm wondering if novel translations fall under this category. It's been a couple weeks from their stated "3 days" so I'm wondering if it's a matter of copyright.

[if you didnt have or asked permission from original owner]
if the source content are distributed free
or the legal rights of translation narrarion or any sort of content conversion havent been given or owned by anyone

you are free to translate, given that you dont sell it or monetize the content

the writer however have rights themself if they wishes your work taken down, but you wont be subjected to legal issue (unless you really did something illegal or failed to comply to the owners takedown request)

    about you monetizing with ads
its considered as you monetizing your bandwith not the content
or any excuse you want to use
    like visitors visiting your website

just dont put the content in a paywall then ur good

    but honestly
paid releases and patron are illegal
but you can give the excuse of it being "donations"
and you giving them appropriate thank you gift for it

but damn, the patron exploiters uses the tier system for "advance releases"
    it may sound rude
but that is one detestable system
