    I need some help

So as I am using google chrome. I have been encountering this problem:
Whenever I try to search in the address bar, I would expect that the engine that would be use is Google and as I saw it is loading the google search engine. The Yahoo search engine would be use. So i try other methods of searching, typing google.com then tab which WOULD make the search engine use is google, but the yahoo was use again.

This time I try to go to google search engine webpage(www.google.com) and it went well perfectly. So i try to use other browsers(Opera, FireFox, IE 11 and Microsoft Edge). Went well with their respective search engine, even changing it to google seems fine.

But still, it's kinda convenient for me to use the search engine as I am accustomed to it, mostly in chrome. Kindly Help me?

    Things I have checked:
    1. Check for any yahoo-related programs installed in the Program and Features
    2. Make sure that the default search engine is Google
    3. Check for any Proxies.

As far as I can see, it seems you have a redirect virus. Have you tried clicking to any of the search results? And if so, where did it bring you?

Google Chrome uses multiple search engines for google.com ( Google , Yahoo , etc )

But it seems that is a different problem

Go to the programs list in control panel and search for any new additions just before you've encountered this problem.
There may be some malwares included in some software you've installed. Uninstall them and see if it's works.

Just reset chrome and if that doesn't work, then reinstall chrome.

considering even doing google.com > tab was still redirecting to yahoo, no it does not sound like that at all..... its 100% a virus/malware

hell, it could be an uninstallable chrome extension that a virus placed on his PC

I suggest you uninstall chrome and reinstall it after you do a full malware and virus check, and make sure your chrome data isn't synched, because if its a chrome virus you're just gonna re infect yourself (and if its synched, make sure its from a date before it was acting up)

Check the extensions on your Google. Open a new page, go to Google extensions under more tools menu and see whether there are any extensions that are added and enabled without your knowledge. If there are, disable them and close the page. If this doesn't work then you do need to check for viruses as others have suggested!
