https://www.grammarly.com/ Grammarly is free But only on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox browsers. just saw this ad and decided to post the link in case it would be of help here...
Since when is grammarly free, I remember you could use it but it would only tell you you had x number errors, not what the errors actually were.
The current grammarly can. Iused it to slay my monstrousity of grammar... not that it help much but at least it help me fix tenses and plurals that I usually not aware due to me not being a native English speaker.
Slowly, but surely and under the radar, machines are taking over. The awakening of SkyNet is upon us. Anyone know where John Conner lives? xD
Too bad, they don't have any mobile app yet. I want to fix my horrible grammar in NUF effortless Under my nest
getting the degree isn't what makes you smart, studying to get it is what makes you smart. might as well just tell people to study up on grammar, it's cheaper and more effective
Oops, my bad. You're right, a degree is just a useless paper. With "bachelor's degree" I meant "the knowledge any decent 15 years old kid should have".
if only there were more decent 15+ year olds LOL really though, I feel like people that can't formulate sentences properly are actually more common than those that can. not even just grammar, spelling too (not to be confused with slang usage). (talking about people who live in countries where English is the official language, so they SHOULD have no excuse)
Grammerly is a paid tool. LanguageTool is open source and free. It can also be installed into LibreOffice or OpenOffice. I wouldn't say that. When writing text yourself it gets pretty complicated. It is one thing about grammar/spelling checking someone else's work, but your own can be difficult because often times there is a discrepancy with what you wrote and what you think you wrote.
It can be useful for non-native English speakers, children, and other people who haven't read much English literature, but they're better off looking up and learning the basics of the language on their own. This alternative is free, and gets people to actively learn instead of letting them rely on a crutch.
