I don't really put much stock in the titles. I think most of the authors just pick something that sounds cool to them and then write whatever they feel like without worrying about whether or not the two relate to each other in any way. Just look at One Sword to Immortality, there's not a single sword in it. Or at least there wasn't at the point that I dropped the story anyway. Its also possible that its just referring to people thinking of him as a Demon King rather than him actually having done anything worthy of the title.

im just unhappy what happened when the author threw in emily, so much build up working on getting the other two, but bangity bang hippity hop boom and now he has new sex friend, but it sort of works out with the title because it shows that han shuo is slowly losing control of his sanity and becoming a devil. maybe i am overthinking it...

The beginning had an evil level roughly equivalent to Dennis the Menis. I assumed that it wouldn't stray too far from that, and that if it did, I would likely wind up dropping it. Though honestly, unless he became a cannibal or a rapist, I'd have probably stuck with it as long as the writing was good.
