Old show now, but I only recently started watching. Spoiler Why is it that Nick seems to have a moral dilemma killing someone early season 3 at the bar fight where he couldn't control his actions, but was totally cool with killing in season 1 and sending severed heads to people?
Was it zombie nick? If so maybe its because he isn't in control of his violent tendencies when hes zombified.
Well... Grimms are supposed to kill "monsters" and sent heads to people but that was the first time (and I guess the only one) he killed a "human" so...
Couldn't it be because his relationship with non-humans like Monroe have make him grow a little from seeing them as monsters to seeing them as maybe people? (yes, "maybe" people)
I think it's because his previous kills were against heinous criminals or people out to kill him but the bar guy was just some random guy in a bar fight. If Nick was in control of himself the fight would never have happened and even if it did he would only have knocked the guy out. In his mind, he killed an innocent, not a combatant. That's what caused the different response.
Fun fact. The people in charge of the cast came to my school (Plus other in my district) to cast for this show. I did not try out.
Because that time with the heads those people were sent to kill him, or something like that if i remember correctly, and he needed to make an example of them. And there is a world of difference between killing because you have to, and killing because you cant control your own actions.
I think it's because he didn't really want to kill them. It's like seeing a rapist on the road and you hit them vs. backing up in a parking lot and accidentally running over Grandma Penny from down the road. You feel awful for hitting Granny, but for the rapist, your more upset about the damages you did to your truck
