And I'm talking about the novel translation itself being removed from the website, like what happened to Zhan Long or some other novels

 

But wasn't Zhan Long GT's first novel or something?

GT is bought by Qidian, so any non-Qidian novel either migrate or go bye bye.

Most likely no one on this site is like that in real life. I might act like one just because I am socially inept and unable to behave like my age. Please stop assuming my age despite the person your talking about denying it. I am not twelve. I swear on whatever religion I or you believe in that I am older than twelve, so please stop. Also, the one time I decide to look at another forum (a bit) before replying, the rules say that you are not allowed to attempt to get my personal information. While you may argue that this is not a violation as you are just stating the obvious or something, please keep in mind that I am denying what you said, however don't want to disclose personal information, so please stop prying or insisting that I'm twelve. This really bugs me, and I would like to ask, am I not allowed to act stupid? Are you saying that the people who constantly go on about ecchi stuff are all perverts? Or that people who act serious online are serious all the time? Or that just because someone acts like someway online means that they are stereotyped into an age group, sex or race? Are you saying that I must change my personality completely because I "act like one"? Am I not allowed to be myself?

It was. It doesn't change anything. GT belongs to Qidian now. Zhan Long and Chaotic Sword God belong to 17k and their negotiations didn't go too well, especially after the news about GT being owned by Qidian got out. So, if they keep the novels on their website they might suffer from DMCA and legal attacks, so they did what was in their best interest and took them down... while they aren't being translated currently, you can use either cache or some other aggregator to read the already translated chapters.

Correction: all unlicensed non-Qidian novels. They have kept Shuras wrath and a few other novels they already had licensing agreements for.

 

@ZXu2002 for LMS, it got removed because author switch to a new publisher which 'advise' TL to stop or was it threaten TL to stop or was it an official C&D letter sent to TL. Well either, LMS, new publisher, no to TL. Got it?

 

Yeah. QI actually wants non-QI novels on GT, it's just that since GT is now owned by QI, aka the largest rival to all the other publishers, hosting unlicensed content isn't going to be tolerated.
GT isn't a fan site anymore.

 

I know they won't translate anymore, but will the website (not novel updates) delete the already translated chapters so that no one can access them online anymore from that website?

That's what the publisher wanted. If there are still translated chapters at TL site, TL get DMCA'ed by the publisher. So in a nutshell publisher say, no more english LMS ok? TL reply, yes! & remove all LMS.
