Haah, I'm tired of Cheat Items

why there are loli spirits as well as big boobed loli spirits.. there arent only old men spirits cmn now

 

I Usually tend to steer away from stories with uberly powerfull cheat items and enjoyed an MC that smash his head against the wall instead.
Harem can be quite boring aswell nowdays.

 

depend on what kind of stories you usually read~
here example ~ Baka to test~ unless you think akihisa idiocy is chear~

 

I want cheat item, then live as hermit. Harem is... Too much responsibility. If the harem member were competing for our attention /possessive it would be disaster, or worse my children will have superiority or inferiority complex depending their mother status from my view or her family status socially

 

The problem with that theory is that justifying a trope isn't the same thing as making it a good story.

 

Well... cheat items are kind of the center of the plot... they could be good or bad... it depends on the characters around them. A very good example is Death Note.

While the notebook is a cheat item (you could kill with just name, face, and a pen), the characters around the notebook are fantastic. The plot is revolving around the death note, but the interaction between the characters is what made Death Note such a great story for me.

Even though we don't see that kind of development often in webnovel area, at least we know that cheat item could make a good story.

 

Yeah, that's why I like novels like Dominating Sword Immortal , Douluo Dalu , Desolate Era more than others like ATG, WMW, WDQK, ED and all that stuff. I think the borderline should be something like ISSTH or HJC, in both cases, MC gets a cheat(?) that can help him cultivate the perfect foundation to reach the peak but he still has to work his ass off to be able to use that cheat(?) efficiently.
In ISSTH, he has the mirror that can duplicate anything but he still has to get all that spirit stone thingies used to duplicate things by himself and in HJC he has his special cultivation but he's still weak as f**k when he gets it and has to survive countless battles and train really hard to be able to use its advantages fully.

Cheats mean i'll work hard. Working hard will increase my vitality and endurance. High endurance and stamina will allow me to have an endless night with my harem. So...

At the end of the day, having someone lay beside you is the best thing one can hope for, even if that someone is a cheat.

A cheat item/skill is as The Name implies a cheat... You cant claim it as yours.
