    You know how in English, your teacher will always and only ever for you to write an essay on the themes of the book?
    Applying that here, have you actually seen any consistent themes in a series here?

    I mean, "kill everyone cause they give you no face" isn't exactly a theme...

    But.... Those aren't themes though.
    Those are only scenarios, you haven't actually generalized it enough to be a theme

    A theme is not only what the work is about but also what the work says about the subject....whatever the authors started with unfortunately or fortunately their own stories have evolved to have these as their themes.

    every shounen manga ( you technically read those too): as long as you have friends and never give up, you'll make it where you want to be (something something happy ending)

    It's kinda stretching it a bit, but you can argue that Ultimate Antihero (aside from getting an harem) is about how society would deal with absolute power / uncontrollable powers being held by someone who's not liable to accountability

    That's actually quite interesting, though I'm sure that wasn't the main focus of the story, as the MC is an antihero
