The grandmother has the most moderate view about things and she did a good job convincing the MC to adopt it. Also, never mind if it is a spoiler but I wanna ask something: Everyone is focused on cultivating the MC to a mediocre Tellurian (by feeding him resources) instead of training him to a supreme Arcanist (perfect arcane body FTWr) Why?

Thanks for the chapter! Just saying this, but it's been quite long since the MC has fought. This is a xianxia story, so repetitive plot, paper-thin characters and shitty world-building can be forgiven. But the fights have to be awesome. A xianxia without any good battles is not a xianxia.
I hear you and I will take that under advisement. I can only ask that you be patient. The battles will certainly come.

Yay, time skip! In xianxia terms, at what level can Valarian fight? For example, Lin Ming (MW) can fight Peak Xiantian despite being at Late Houtian level.
Wow, the two-part battle was awesome! The villains used proper tactics to corner the weaker party, but the MC was able to show off his awesomeness. Close combat, magic and formations... All ticked off! Eagerly awaiting the next chapter!
