As in many other states, the Government is divided into three branches: the Executive branch, the Legislative branch and the judicial branch. The Government runs under the framework established by the Constitution of Tempest adopted in 1802. It is a unitary state, containing forty-seven administrative divisions, with the King as its head of state. His role is ceremonial and he has no powers related to Government. Uxkhal Lake – where Joseph sacrificed himself to save the 1st King John Seynes Tempestria the 1st in order for the King to rally up his men and save his wife Queen Eugenia Eleanor Tempestria The ruins of Dhirim- the village of heroes where the 1st King the hero was born, Destroyed by the essence of time and was left to ruin because of the Raid of praven. 1) Palace of the Ever Watchful - Formerly the site of the epic battle between the Twelve Maidens of Guidance and the shadow forces. It was here that Nuei departed for the west to guide the souls of all who died in this battle. - At the very centre of the palace, guarded by the elite Temple Guards stood The Watchers. The seal that not only prevents the old shadow god from regaining power as well as siphoning its power into the magicite fountain that powers the capital as well as create the magicite rods. - In the mountain accessible only through the palace, stood twelve statues of the Maidens of Guidance. Possible heirs of the throne place their gifts here and if their gifts are consumed by fire, it is accepted. A possible heir requires six of the gifts to be accepted before they can become heir candidate. 2) Memorial of the Watchers. - Situated in the Memorial Place of the capital. It provides a place for people of the capital to pray to the Maidens without applying for permission to visit The Watchers at the palace. It was said that this was the exact location where Nuei, Maiden of the West shed her human body and departed for the west with all the souls of those who died. 3) The Gate of Worlds - Situated in the easternmost shores of Tempest, it was the gate that once brought humans to this land. It now no longer functions but remains a busy location for pilgrimage every summer. - Exactly opposite of the gate stands the statue of Miol, the Maiden of the East. Her shield and spear always pointed at the gate, always protecting humans from their pursuers even after her death. The place the statue of Miol stands is widely believed to be the place Miol sacrificed her human body to close the gate forever with the help of the eighth wave refugees. It was said that as long as this statue stood, the gate would never open again. 4) The Flesh of Illumia - Six miles west of the Gate of Worlds stood a large tree called Flesh of Illumia. It was said that after returning from the battle at Praven, Illumia came to the Gate only to discover that all the adults of the eighth refugee wave stayed behind in the old world to buy Miol time. When the children of the eighth wave cried of thirst, Illumia slit her own wrists and fed them her own blood. The place this blood first fell to the ground became the Pool of Mercy. When the children cried of hunger, she buried herself into the earth and from the ground, sprouted the berry called Tears of Illumia. Over time, the berry bush turned into a tree where the berry turned into a fruit the size of a child's fist, also called Tears of Illumia. These children who consumed Illumia’s blood and flesh became the original bloodline of the mages and allowed humanity to practice magic. Every year, mages from all over the kingdom visit and spill their own blood at the root of Illumia’s tree. 5) The Ever Watchful, the Eternal Protector - Situated at the mouth of the Shadow Ravine built 2500 years ago. Stood the Watchful Tower, where the original statue of Irua was placed on top of the site of the epic battle between Irua, Maiden of the South and a million shadow creatures. By the time the shadow creatures routed, Irua was the only one who stood. Yet, it was merely an appearance. For Irua had exhausted all her power and turned to stone. Her body was then carried to the tallest tower and enshrined at the top. For hundreds of years, the mere sight of her pointing her long spear southward terrified the shadow creatures so much that none dared to come close, allowing the human nations to prosper in peace. It was said that she secretly turned human again whenever a shadow creature approached from the ravine. Culture / Arts: The culture of Tempest has evolved greatly over the Centuries, from the country's prehistoric Creation period, to its contemporary modern culture, which absorbs influences from the different races that inhabits the country. Tempest is also a multiracial country consisting of many different races. Humans view the other races as they view their own, the demons is still at odds with the angels but it died down to just petty quarrels, the dwarves leapt to another realm of blacksmithing because of the teaching of the 1st king they can now create purer metals and can also build huge infrastructure and weapons far surpassed the technology of the other kingdoms, the elves volunteered themselves to patrol the kingdoms forests periodically and was tasked to cut the old trees to make way for the younger trees (saplings) to prevent flooding and landslides, the vampires are the most fortunate one because they can raise the dead and they make them their workers and with that sense they can use them efficiently because the dead will never tire, but if they raise a female they’ll get imprisoned and killed shortly after. Because of that they’ll get more money and they can afford blood bags and raise millions, on the other hand the other race that relies on strength is either soldiers or adventurers, and also the angels because they’re mostly females their social ranking are much higher than most people. And then comes the beast men half human half animal, typically has the body of a human and ears of an animal and tails of its kind. They are often seen as mascots at a café and at modern commercials, idols and pop stars, and Ahri as the leading figure of the race. The festivities they have are the marriage proposal day in February 14 where they propose or say I love you to the one they like, in 20th of June they have the national death remembrance day where over 200 thousand soldiers perished that day just to save their loved ones, on 26th of march they have the kingdoms reformation day where the 1st king created their banner and rallied up his men to unite their kingdom against the oppressors. In august 17 there is the old god ceremony day where a maiden will offer her life to again strengthen the siphonic field that enclosed the old gods. at April 17 they have Joseph day, they celebrate this day because without Joseph the 1st king would’ve perished in battle, between December 31 and January 1st like on earth they celebrate it for a new change in life “new year, new chapter, new life” quoted by the King. They promote free will of love, they heavily tackled agriculture, and they value knowledge and wisdom. They say their prayers to their goddess for giving a safe delivery and for the child to be healthy. In December 25th is the Creation Day the day rumoured to be the day where everything were created The main races of tempest The dwarves Dwarves are short and stout creatures mostly inhabiting Khaz Modan in the Eastern Kingdoms. They are shorter than humans but taller than gnomes, taking advantage of their size when possible and relying on their robustness and strength when not. The average dwarf is steady, observant and composed both during work and combat, yet able to rage with fierce zeal and persistence when the situation calls for it. While a dwarf prefers to plan forward to overcome challenges, many of them easily lose their temperament and self-restraint when exposed to conditions stirring their feelings and concerns. In past ages, the dwarves rarely left the safety of their mountain fortresses, spending their time on refining metal and stone into powerful weapons and beautiful jewellery. However, when the call to battle sounded, they rose up to defend their friends and allies with unmatched courage and valour. In Tempest Dwarves was in-charge of blacksmithing, ironworks, refining, and forging. They make steel pipes, iron bars, tools, weapons, to steel frames. They are also the mechanics; they create vehicles for travelling to vehicles for heavy work. The elves Elves are tall and slender creatures mostly inhabiting the forested area of Tempest. They are more beautiful than humans but often the certain object as an outlet for lust. Taking advantage of their height to quickly move from the forests and relies on their magic and agility. The average elf is cunning, thoughtful and composed during work and combat, yet able to fight with deathly accuracy with the bow when the situation calls it. While an elf often does not warrant war they are peace lovers, they often lose their sense of self when attacked by arousal this certain gap of personality views the race as a whole. In past ages, the elves maintains a non aggression towards humans even though their own kind were being persecuted and raped by them, their morals won’t allow themselves to succumb to revenge and anger and is unrivalled in the way of the bow. In Tempest Elves was in-charge of woodwork and carpentry. They are also patrol forests, cuts down old trees to plant new ones The vampires Vampires are beautiful and wise creatures mostly inhabiting the demon realm of Tempest. They have the affinity of necromancy magic where they summons undeads to do their bidding. The average vampire is wise, clever and sly during work or combat, yet able to fight with true strength when needed. While a vampire uses dark magic they are not persecuted because with their certain prowess and the unity of all the races under Tempests rule. In past ages, the vampires were uncontrollable because for their certain thirst for blood, they cannot sate stop their thirst for it because that is their source of nutrients and was persecuted by the other countries as unclean. In Tempest, the Vampires are in-charge of the farmers and help them by sending their undeads as the main work force for the farmlands. With multiple races comes with multiple cultures from the beastmens we have the coliseum, where most warriors fight for valour when in time of peace They fight with each other via one on one, two on two, royal rumble or even team fights. The one who won on the arena gets the prize to choose one weapon from the royal armoury and granted passage to the royal library. The angels they shared the joy of music and peace. Everything is not just about war and some can be solved without conflict, they shared it by creating the so called judge system where they judge the criminal by their crime and punished accordingly for it. They also shared the joy of music where anyone can sing dance and play music The demons shared the joy of war. They trained soldiers to be deadly and fiercely quick as possible, although they are not war thirsty as they actually look. When you got to know them better, they are just cute muscle heads and the intelligent ones are of the minority. The Ajins share the joy of creation. They shared various building techniques, crafting techniques to potion making and stuffs. Although every race can also do it, but they only have one technique. But the Ajins shared the originality, to create your own style. Tourist spots: Heavenly goddess inn – rumoured to be the best inn in the world. Why is the male to female ratio so high? High male to female ratios would imply many men unable to find spouses, which is typically associated with social instability. Is there a culture of select female abortion or infanticide? Or do they have other methods to skew childbirth towards males, and do so because frequent wars mean that a lot of men die, thus restoring the gender parity?
Sounds fun. I did this too but it also included a heavy focus on economy. As for the reason I did it. I was making an RPG, and wanted to make a game that had depth to it. In the end I had only made the prologue playable since 4 years worth of notes, details, and planning were lost when I had just started actually making it.

First, what grade / year are you in? The year level makes a difference in terms of what is expected out of such an assignment. Older secondary / high school students need to focus more on the government, history, culture and politics (especially for such a multi-racial country). Younger secondary / middle school / late primary kids can get away with lesser details. To create a culture, you need to focus on what values are important to the society. Or more precisely, how values rank in terms of hierarchy. For example, is courage valued more than intelligence? Is nobility and family honor valued more than life? What about kindness and mercy for the weak / enemies? Or is it a country where strength rules? Is it a society which prioritises treating everyone equally, or one which values competition for the best? Intermediate: What is the level of technology does the society currently have? Does gunpowder and steam power exist yet? To what extent does magic play a role in everyday life, or is it primarily used as a racial specialisation or combat only? What art forms exist in the country (e.g. painting, dance, song, sculpture, poetry, etc. - and are there magical / divine / demonic versions of these)? Advanced: If you're creating a multi-racial society, you need to figure out the race relationships between each major grouping. How do the humans view the demons or seraphs? Which race has the highest prestige / wealth? What forms of inequality are there in your society, and how do people deal with it? Is there a history of peaceful protest, or violent revolution? To what extent is the population agrarian / rural versus urban, and how does that affect class differences and lifestyles?
That sounds awfully realistic. Why is there so many non-humans in the country? Are the rulers non-humans and the humans are slaves or something? Also, why does the metal have such high purity?

I originaly thought of this in a novel prospective being the 1st king as an overpowered character, fallen inlove with a demon queen, created his own country and legacy

Is it absolute monarchy (the King's word is law, no protest), or constitutional monarchy (king has specific powers, but is restricted by the laws in the constitution created by the people)? Does the king rule in power as well as reign, or merely reign and leave the day-to-day business to some other body like a parliament or a collection of lords / bureaucrats? If there is a government, how does one get into a position of power in the government? Is it inherited (lords), elected (democracy), appointed by the king (meritocratic / aristocratic) or some sort of combination?
with your suggestion the government is appointed by the king but they're going to be voted. the most voted one will be the assigned member of the government but the elected must be a lord edit: and if it is a commoner they must have high achievement in order to be a candidate for the position
