This is the only novel that doesnt fit your category. http://www.novelupdates.com/series/picking-up-a-general-to-plow-the-fields/ The update of this novel is slow and QI is picking it up now. Very good novel. Just wait when the update is stable. This is the only novel with female MC that i read. The rest are the same like they are good at medicine/poison etc. Hate it when you have to pick same stuff.
I've gotten to chapter 80ish of unprecedented pill refiner entitled ninth young lady without most of the major troupes cropping up. -no male lead so far and not on the horizon yet -she is a reincarnated cultivator who acts like one rather than being one in name -There is no clan except as a backstory (before chapter 1) for her to wallow in -She has an IQ which wasn't scraped from the bottom of her shoes
@Darkwood there is a male lead except he's currently a shota. But I agree that it is one of the best of the female MC genre, at least thus far.
Read this two novels/ Transmigrator Meets Reincarnator And Unruly Phoenix Xiaoyao More comedy than 21 century beautiful assassins, but still mantain a good plot as of now. Both are basicly the opposite of what you made fun of, more so the transmigrator one.
Probably you are a man, or you have identification with masculine things. The genre and age of the protagonists are usually indicative of the audience for which the story was intended.
With the exception from most CN as I have read enough of both gender and have to say China needs stricter copy right laws... oh wait nvm... anyway, a Female MC to me is always interesting to read as they give me a better perspective of both worlds and some variety to the sausage fest. And I also thought of something weird. Why does JN Male MC usually talk about having a bath and making food? I feel like those two things are what many isekai Male MC is known to do the moment they got settle in the other world with some exception. While the female MC does usually cook, they won't usually go full blown cooking show, and they don't talk about having a bath every single time.
Novel with Female MC is fine, but most author add an annoying Male Lead that can solve lots of problem just like Doraemon even though the female lead didn't ask for it.
Look, I don't know why all the complaints about XainXai female MCs when if you think about all XainXia is pretty terrible and repetitive regardless of the gender of MC. You are just pointing to the issue with XainXia as a whole. If you go outside that, there are plenty of female MCs which are pretty good. I personally like Female MCs because they tend to explorer character development more than most male MC novels.
I love the female mc in Genius Doctor: Black Belly Miss. I actually dropped it around mid 400s but picked it up again recently. After 500s I really enjoyed the cute fluffies. Though I will admit the story is very average.
I really hate female characters. Because spot of scenarios center around the fact that they are in fact women. Got a complete badass no shits given heroine? Gotta add misogynistic prices for the Mc to thrash so we can see that she's badass AND a woman. Lord help me with the damsel in distress type stories as well. I also hate the usual heroine personality types. We got the cool silent type which occurs spot or the snarky intellectual. News flash, those make your characterspersonality as flavorful and unique as a turnip. If we flipped the gender to a male character, we'd call him dull and edgy with a hint of Mary Sueing. Give me a story where it's written around a male MC then swap the names and change the 'he's' to 'she's' and I'll be happy. Of course that's just my taste. I'm very much into valiant and courageous personality types, and most females mcs are at the opposite end of the spectrum
I'm confused though, isn't most male MCs dull and edgy with a hint of Mary Sueing? So how would swapping he and she help? You'll virtually get the same thing. As far as female MCs go, its again depends on what you read. Aka, avoid xianxia or those otome game romance ones.
mc on the wandering inn on RRL is an example of female mc done right. imo, female mc on most Chinese novels in general is not like women. I don't know if it's because they're written not by women or because it's some kind of wish fulfillment the same as generic male mc
I quite like this book too, just not the current arc...... makes me feel depressed? or something along those lines lol.I never like that stuff being put in the things i read...
I can't read anything from a womans perspective view because I'm a guy. Like love, caring and caressing. Im a farmer and she's the landlord
I'm a few chapters from being up to date. I'm at 1130 and couldn't bring myself to continue. Because I haven't read enough to know if they really go through with it I can't really complain yet, but her 'solution' to 'that poor girl's situation' sounds like they're placing time bombs. As for that kind of stuff being in novels, I don't mind if it's not in detail and doesn't happen to a main character.
