Art I made an illustration for the novel I'm currently writing.

Her name is Xie Yun'er, she is the mother of the MC.
I was trying to make her looking at the baby when he was a kid.

Well imo its 1000x better then anything i could do, but still it looks kinda weird

I know she's really skinny but her skull is kinda iffy.
i think?
maybe using some pic with the same gesture and angle as reference could help.
not sure though, I used to draw crush gears with that.

 

the chin is too small while the head is big,not bad though.

(I am sorry some people suck but so what, not eveyone is nice and nothing can change that).

But coming from me who can't do digital art at all, why not you draw another version on paper and see if it's any different?

Well, the eyes are beautiful however in my opinion, it should be put in a better position. Your choice of color is simply wonderful. I love it. The lips is sexy by the.

Alright, going off by what I see:

- It's quite a good drawing, however some slight improvements could be made.
- I believe that the biggest issue visually I can see is that the chin is too sharp.
- On the right side, with the face behind the hair, it looks disproportionate. One easy way I think to fix this would be to place the hair over her right eye a bit, however I'm not sure if you'd want to do that.
- I can't comment on the eyes, they look quite good to me..

Also you might want to make her look older since she's the MC's mother.
