    So I've been wondering: how is the "Mile" name pronounced? I assume It's not pronounced like the unit of measurement.

    From what I understand, the non-American pronouciation of:
    - the letter "i" = ee
    - the letter "e" = eh

    So "Mile" = Meeleh, which maybe an accented version of "Milly".

    In the original Japanese her name is マイル, which is read as Mairu, 3 sillables, so Ma-i-ru, the "I" is read with the English pronunciation of "e", not as the English "i".

    No, it would be closer to Mieeru if anything.

    Though the sound that the "ru" has doesn't translate well into English...

    Try going at google translate and writing "Mairu" in it, it should give you the proper pronunciation... Or rather, this link here: https://translate.google.com/#ja/en/マイル

    It's actually like the unit of measurement.

    From chapter 18 (emphasis mine):
    When her father says "nautical mile" (what I underlined above), he uses "ノーティカルマイル".

    So, I'd assume "Mile" (マイル) is just a word play on her original name (海里), as in "nautical mile".

    Hmmmmmm... Mile is having a hard time coming up with stories? Well, I guess there is a limit to how many things you can remember from your head and twist into weird and funny things... She'll probably get some inspiration in due time though.

    yea, i haven't read it yet, lol. when tler say it's a cliff hanger, you bet it's going to be one hell of a cliff hanger. When the cliffhanger are over, I hope the tler will remind us when the cliffhanger arc started, since I haven't been keeping tabs on latest chapter read, because it's mark as the last chapter when i stop tracking character name in novels ^^;

    cliffhangers and suspense is what makes it so thrilling to read. you need something strong to keep you thinking about the series during the period of time before the next release. Sometimes shows fail to do this after their midseason before winter break and lose viewers because no one is excited enough to remember it long after

    yeah, there is some really good cliffs out there.
    But i gotta say...there´s some cliffs where we just want to say: "Come on! Just show what happens right away!"

    Last chapters were the most exciting chapters so far.
    Go, Mile! Show Them who is Boss/God/AverageAdventurer!

    the chapters come out fairly quickly. I can't complain. As long as a chapter comes about once a week, I can't say anything.

    Agree, once a week is still consider fast for a free jpn novel translations. The only one that release more frequently either have the income to do it, or a lot of free time to share what they love.
