    So I saw on HM last updates, there is ch 5 from QI, but it was the continuation from ch 265, what happened there?

    The new translator, after the one on Volare, mentioned there being some negotiations and talks between them and Qidian after having picked it up.
    Maybe this is part of the move but the announcement hasn't been made yet.

    so i'm guessing that qidian didn't buy the translations and don't want to translate it from the start
    or maybe it was just an error

    nope they should be beginning from the first chapter cause they don't have the right already translated chapters.
