    You've just woken up in another world/the past. You see a fantasy/medieval style castle and/or Xianxia-Sect off in the distance. How do you secure entry?

    Assume you only have "reasonable" things on hand. Like your wallet/cellphone/purse/lighter. Nothing like a gold ingot or magical entry MacGuffin from the gods.

    Bonus Scenario: You can't understand the native language.

    I would look for a village because a village would be more hospitable than some castle with no money or language skills.

    my routes in regards to my personal abilities
    realistic
    construct basic bow cause you cant make a sword with sticks.. hunt rabbits if your lucky cause they edible and easy and survive survivalist style~ and trade with hopefully friendly locals while attempting to gain knowledge(immersion does work in language studies), establish yourself as mute hunter. uber slow development
    no so realistic
    check if you have cheat,
    1.) you have cheat skill begin op life (casual jp novel) get a loli in day 2
    2.) no cheat , well your kinda screwed.give up
    Pray you meet a kind higher being that grants you shit cause well yeah~ ..
    3.)Establish medicine with current knowledge, get branded a witch get captured and then hanged. bad end

    go to the sect, test aptitude. if good, i'll enter if not wait for any sudden aarival of plot, if there's nothing then go back wandering around. enter a village, learn language, make a living, get married. live a happy simple life.
