And the relationship between Zack and Ray is freaking strange but heartwarming at the same time... What the fuck is this.
I'm totally engrossed in this game, so much that I felt sad at the scene when Ray didn't shoot him (by my choice, of course, but that doesn't matter).
And Zack took too much damage... The execution chair + the poisoned gas + the slash at the belly are sufficient to take down even a monster... Or so it seems.
Off to the third episode!

 

It's so cute for a horror game. All of the characters are complex enough to be in a lightnovel and the interactions between Ray and Zack is awesome.(≧∀≦ ) I'm planning to marathon all of it again when I have free time but the later parts is hard to get through argh. (ﾉ｀⊿´)ﾉ
By the way can you put it in the spoiler tag for people who haven't played the game.

Mm, yeah, the characters seem quite complex but Ray and Zack are one step higher.

About the scene.... Uwahhh.... I'm torn in between the 'Bang' scene and the 'I will not shoot him' scene... Such epicness... One of them made my blood boil while the another showed how much their relationship progressed in a cute but strange way...

For me it would be the scene when he talks about his past after Ray discovered his profile but there are so many other scenes like the last scene that I like too. I actually like the scenes where he doesn't know how to react to Ray alot.

Sorry, i don't like this game. Psycho Horror Adventure Game is not my type.

 

Nope and never heard of it, really unknowledgeable about games and anything else in life whatsoever

All I know is DotA 2 or DotA 1. If you have any questions, I might know the answer

 

The game isn't really psychological in particular. Even though the characters' personality are abnormal I wouldn't call them extreme psychopaths like Mad Father but more like the characters are strange yet relatable? It's pretty mild for a game of its genre but what makes the game really interesting is the character interactions and storyline rather than the scary aspects however I understand if you're not interested since it may not be for everyone.

 

I watched a playthrough and loved it, even though I hate horror games. The psychological aspect and in-depth characterization really makes this a gem. I know you linked a playthru in your first post, but may I recommend this YTuber as well?

She does a wonderful voice for Ray, especially for the emotional moments of Episode 4!

 

I'll definitely watch it when I have the time. I was planning on replaying the game again in my free time. I love the story too much.

Right? Right!!

I was sure I wouldn't like it because things like Mad Father, Ib, or The Witch's House were a little too creepy for me, but I think this game excels in its storytelling. I never expected the characters to have so much depth, or for people like Zack and Ray to grow on me so much. It really was beautiful...

I started the playthrough with The Blank on a whim after seeing some screenshots of the game. I'm planning to watch Bishie Fanatic's version again just to enjoy her voice acting. And maybe check out other games as well---Alice Mare is next on my list!

(Unfortunately my main computer is a Mac so ehh...)

 

I got introduced to it through the manga so I was always waiting for a english version to come out. Being an indie game the graphics are amazing and the complexity of each character makes it one of my favorite games (like Disgaea).
Not to mention the amazing fanart it has.
