There wasn't much said about them. They just showed up at the birthday party after killing the grandson and said he'd die in three years. No reason was given.

 

So her new sword is supposed to be stronger than the azure dragon or something? That seems lame. He has two of these heavenly treasures and she'll probably be growing as fast as him anyways. Also, aren't the black dragon and the divine holy sword both top tier twelve spirits?

Lol no way,the dragons they're like peak 13 or something, and after hitting rank 7 they each grew another claw, 5 clawed dragons are typically portrayed as being above regular ones, wouldn't be surprised if his stronger dragon is a 14 or something, possibly fully awakening at a later stage or a 3rd showing up "the later they awaken the stronger".

 

I hope he gets a third dragon and all three keep evolving. I want him to have the best spirits no matter where he goes. That azure dragon better be like grade 50 right now or something

hydra are technically serpents, so an "upright" dragon wouldn't become a poisonous serpent

There's less of a difference between a serpent and an eastern dragon than the western dragon, it'd mostly be in their nobility
