I guess, having a disposable chat room for those thread hijacker would be nice? To converse in that instead of hijacking thread?
It is really scary though, when you don't have control over your thread anymore when the poster intended for a serious topic. At least that is what it is like for me. I guess I just wanted to contain the chaos in one place...
Report them or contact the mods. If no one complains, nothing will happen. I'll mod for spam/hijacking if I'm in the mood, but I'm pretty hands off about most threads, unless Tony decides he wants spammy posts gone. (I do think thread hijacking is getting kind of out of hand.)
I think @Shiki Shiori is a troll. The forum is pretty much one big chatroom so I would prefer if you guys don't scare them off. I don't want users to feel like they have to watch what they say on here. As long as they aren't posting NSFW pictures/videos and harassing other users, I don't care. Let them have their fun. Hopefully they don't hijack threads from http://forum.novelupdates.com/forums/novel-discussion.1014/ either as I think that's the only serious place on these forums I've only had one report related to hijacking threads so far and it was related to http://forum.novelupdates.com/threads/orang-indonesia-masuk.539/ If users don't want their hijacked, then the report button is one click away. If I get a lot of reports, I can add a "no hijacking" prefix.
