Is there some way to save a story to read later?

So I'm very new to the site I usually read stories on RoyalRoadL and someone recommended a novel that was on this site so here I am. So I got some questions. Is there a way to make it so when a newer chapter of the story you are reading gets updated you get an update or something? Also is there a way to save stuff to read later because I;ve been recommended several things and I'm probably going to forget all the names.

 

Add them to your reading list. That way you can see the last chapter that you read as well as the latest one out

All you need to do is add the novel you want to read to your reading list (this is located above the novel). After you read a chapter just tick the box, new chapters will show up on your home page on Novel Updates.

 

You can also.change the highlights so you can know what you've read already and what are the new releases.

Sorry I realized the error of my ways and was about to correct it. So when you go to the novel that you want there is a box next to the title that allows you to add novels to your reading list

wait it mentions in one tutorial that i can click boxes to remember my progress. I can't see any boxes

Open reading list then click global setting

 

You need to enable the reading list function in global settings. Click on your reading list in the sidebar, at the top right corner is global settings.

 

In royal roadl, make an account, use square-rectangle on the side to bookmark novels.

No way to follow royalroadl novels here, and viceversa.

I assumed it was Novel Updates as that is what it seems like in the OP. It must have been the wording I got mixed up then.

Can I confirm one thing though, you are talking about Royal Road or Novel Updates? I got confused because it seems like other people are saying it's RRL you need help with.

idk why people are wondering why im asking RRL questions on the NovelUpdate site. I mentioned earlier how I came from RRL but I'm sure they misunderstood something. I managed to make a reading list and do some stuff with it but how do I make it so when I come onto NovelUpdates I can easily see if anything was updated?
