Well, I still haven't completed the rest of my plans yet, the people will come when I am finished.
Well, I say you should stay around town for a bit, and take a look.

    Good luck.
OOC: I'm currently looking for potential pictures of my char here. I'm not even sure how he/she looks like.

lol, my back tingled weirdly while I was writing this.
Especially the last part, which -not going to lie- I think was chunni as fk.....
Like, REEEALY chuuni, in full caps....
Looking at the crowd of people, I knew it was time for the speech.
No nonsense, I just got onto the platform and towards the podium, amidst the curious gazes of the onlookers.
As I was at the podium, I cleared my throat, which the crowd took as a signal of silence.
The crowd was soon quiet, in curious anticipation.
"Now, I'm sure all of you are curious as to why I'm here, right?"
    Nods from the crowd.
"I would just like to ask you people a question, do you all know about magic"
The crowd started murmuring amongst themselves.
"Powers many of us never will be able to see"
"Possessed by those blessed by the founder (system)"
"And possessed by other powerful beings too."
Those were some of the responses from the crowd.
    I continued:
"What if I told you, these powers are just within reach of us?"
    The crowd was momentarily silenced.
    Than the commotions begin.
    "Imposssible."
    "Is it really true?"
    "How, pray tell?"
Some were very doubtful, and it was justified.
I put up my hand to once again signal for silence, and some tranquilty returned.
"It is true. This power is called mana, a power around us, and one we can harness."
A muffled explosion of voices soon erupted as the crowd went into a small frenzy.
    "Impossible!"
    "Is there proof?"
    "Show us, then."
SIgnal for silence. The crowd quitens down for the third time.
    "Take a look."
I simply asked, and then I started circulating mana to my hand.
I formed the familiar sensation of a mana ball, aside from the fact I didn't release it, just held it in place.
    *Gasps*
    "What is that?"
"Is that what he was speaking about?"
"Could it be a blessing from the fonder (system)?"
"No, no reason for him to lie."
Letting the crowd go on with their commotion this time, I continued on:
"This is only the basics of the possibilities of mana.
There can be much more applications of it, other than just this pretty ball of light.
It could be used in literally anything."
    "Like what?"
    "There are many examples.
For examples, you farmers work all the day in the field, working the land, upholding the society, right?"
The farmers nodded in agreement, evidentally proud of their work.
"I'm sure even after years, you people still tire from the work, right?
The farmes nodded again, albiet with a slight grimace this time.
"Learning just some simple mana techniques can not only make you less tired, it can also allow you to get more work down."
    A commotion rose again.
    The fourth signal for silence.
    "Let me demonstrate."
Saying that, I starting circulating mana to strengthen my body, and jumped off the platform with a single leap, nearly starling the crowd.
    "Whoa did you see that?"
"...Is it- is it really possible for us commoners to achieve that?"
"You can. And do even more, like this."
I then proceed to lift a crate from the makeshift platform.
    With one hand.
    "That...that's superhuman strength!"
    "Wow..."
The crowd started to become noisy again, this time I let them settle by themselves.
Very soon, the crowd caught on that I was waiting for them and become silent, once again.
"I'm sure you now all see the power of magic, right?
    The crowd nods.
"However, even this, is one of the simpole basics of magic."
The crowd immediate went into another frenzy amongst that.
"I'm sure some of you have caught on by now."
"If these are the basics of mana, what are the limits of them."
The crowd went into a pondering silence.
"There are darker applications that can be used by those with wicked intentions.
Infact, if one is sufficently powerful enough, one could possibly annhilate this town with a single spell.
    Silence again.
"But yet, the same person with all that power could also potential bring miracles for harmony.
Calling the rain when there is drought, Strengthening the crops when there is famine, Curing illness when there is plague...
Mana is the biggest double edged blade in existence. It can be used for both good and evil, order and chaos.
But in this cruel harsh, world, there will be people willing to spread mayhem across the land, and even a poweful mage cannot reverse what has already happened.
So, before the seeds of terror take root, I and others have decided that we need a guiding light in this shifting period.
We will be the authority, and beacon which people can look to, and follow.
    We will bring order.
    We will bring harmony.
    We will bring paradise.
Ladies and Gentlemen, in these times of great change, a new light shall shine upon these lands.
I, the first leader of the Magic Association, declare that it now be open, and its services and goods, authority and security now by open throughout the land.
    Thank you."
    Silence.
    ......
"THREE CHEERS FOR THE MAGIC ASSOCIATION!"
Suddenly, the crowd had become a wave of resonding applause, and people starting cheering.
    "M.A! M.A !M.A!"
The crowd has then taken to chanting a short form of the name of the Magic Association apparently created on the spot (Was amazed, really) And the cheers become a tsunami of enthusiasum, sleeping across the town.

I let out a stale breathe of air which @Lasksha (He doesn't, actually. lol) knew how long I had being keeping it in for.
The speech was NOT a bust.

Funny thing, chuuni isn't my style but I felt it had to be... 'grand' and impression lasting...
Well, I've got the latter down lol, but whether it be good or bad remains to be seen...

*applauds* Well spoken. But I am once again certain that what I do with my rites and what you do with your magic is different.

OOC: They do, yes. My character is a strange mixture of several things... btw, I currently have three different pictures I could use for my char. Can you help me decide? (My decision will be based on Sartre's thesis of freedom)
