The story is pretty well written. Spoiler Ding Ning is in fact the world's strongest person before he was killed. His technique that only he knows how to use is the world's most mysterious technique. The current emperor and empress was once his companion who betrayed him. The empress was his lover. The women he currently lives with hates but loves the him in the past (she doesnt know Ding Ning is that person until later in the raws) and wants to take vengeance by killing the empress and emperor. Ding Ning also wants to take vengeance. About Ding Ning's character, he's always level headed and calm. Think of Tang San from Douluo Dalu.
Last time I've read it was about 700? Theres different volumes and the author resets the chapter count per volume, so its hard to count.
