In the case, The People sued Mary Poppins for popping too much popcorns which flooded the city. The People, angry at Mdm. Poppins decided to sue her for property damage. They claimed that the caramel gooeyness of the popcorn has stained their personal belongings and caused them to lose hundreds of dollars on stain removal products.

The court deemed Mdm. Poppins not guilty as the popcorn were actually made for the judge's daughter's birthday party.

However, the case was brought back to court when the people complained. The previous judge was deemed unsuited for the case as it was personal.
The new court ruled that Mdm. Poppins guilty on the charge of carelessness.

The case was so big it made frontline news. Tort law was also adjusted to satisfy this new ruling.

A sequel documentary was also mad regarding how the people actually bribed the new court judge and the discovery that the new court judge was actually pissed about the stain on his white Lamborghini. Of course, during the new discovery, Mdm. Poppins had already died of poverty due to her bankruptcy in paying back the People's money.
