I noticed that all the "crime problems" in the show are mostly rape, corruption, gangsters and illegal organ trading. Do Koreans deal with these problems in real life?

The organ theft was part of the plot of the movie "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" from the Vengeance trilogy. Also a plot of the novel "God of Crimes".

I don't know about illegal organ trading, but isn't the rest everywhere?
Also, Korean TV series often have "incurable disease" and stuff as well. Honestly, I wish they stop with the cheap dramas.

That list of yours is fairly mild in my opinion. I watched criminal minds and the things that villains do in that show are pretty twisted

I'm pretty sure every Korean president for the past, like, 40 years has been arrested for corruption... so... yeah.

In the olden days, as long as someone had money, they can bribe their way out of crime. Even if you went to jail, you can recieve VIP treatment like you're staying in a hotel. It happened for a long time in real life, thus it makes its way to a lot of the dramas.

Even today, the victim can choose to settle the case out of the pocket. The criminal will just pay a sum the victim wants and the charges won't make it to the official records.

You're right, that too. I hate it so much that I tried to forget about it and looks like it's working somewhat.
Though I think Korean Manhwa is still somewhat enjoyable. As long as it doesn't have too much of those mushy stuffs.

I like those cheap dramas plot, they are recurrent and expected. I even watch parody of those trope because it's funny and entertaining. Like "Devious Maid" or "Le cœur a ses raisons".

If you know it happens everywhere, then why bother asking the question to begin with?

Don't watch those cliche ones, there's a few pretty good ones like Goblin or Descendants of the Sun

It's a crime show. What do you expect? The cops teaching child in remote areas?
On another notes, western detective show is always about murders...
