I think you are heavily underestimated the author.... I mean do you still remember those first few arcs where there's no direction in the story. And then suddenly BOOM it becomes one of the best novels on NU. Do you still remember that time? Yeah you probably do so just wait and never lose hope in our author.

What group is translating this web novel? blastron or Raising the Dead? I'm somewhat confused by the chapter numbering from both groups intertwining in the page of the WN...

Like, blastron posted recently the chapter 119, but the last numbered chapter posted by RtD is 300. What is happening?

If it was discussed before, please give a pointer to it, I cannot find it with a common search.

From the beginning there were two translations for Kumo, there was the speedy, typo ridden translation, and then there was blastr0n with the quality, but slow release....

Edit: the quality fluctuated a lot in the early to middle chapters, but it's pretty good in the RTD releases.

 

Blastron should be translating the light novels rather than the web novels.

Also, the idea is that he is doing a better translating since the original translation was done super fast.

 

Blastron is translating the web novel only however he is actually translating it in a legit way. Turbo the previous translator was a good MTL translator and thus his releases was choppy but readable. So if you are new to the story, start reading the Blastron translations and when you finish with it switch to Turbo( if you can't wait for blastron to finish retranslating all of turbo chapters) and when switch to Raising the Dead(current translators) after the turbo chapters are over.

Tl;Dr: Turbo----> machine translated older version, he dropped it somewhere and RTD picked it up.
Blastron--> retranslation of the work done by turbo
RTD-----> translating the newer chapters as they get released by the author.

It was explained when they were raising Sophia, that all the other Vampires were exterminated, but I can't really remember if it was due to the death of that Demon Lord.

I plan on cleaning up the release feed for this series. I see a lot of "Side stories" with chapter names as the link. To my semi-ocd tendencies I don't like the look of it.

But my point being is that will there be problems with renaming them to "ss1 part1" , "ss2 part1" , ect.

 

Exactly. Actually rename them how the original author named them. Aka S1 or K1 etc...
They act as a mystery to new readers as they'll later realise what the name signifies down the line..
