I'm pretty sure he won't. What he just saw was the entirety of the past arc after all. He probably just has a lot of questions.

I'm really curious what he thinks about Shiro now though.

I think Shun will just downspiral and become a god and attack Kumoko-sama but when he becomes a god, he'll lose all the power he's been building up since he doesn't know how to work magecraft and he won't have that stupid divine protection ability anymore. Then our lord and savior will just kil him like the pest he is

 

He can't become a god. Mainly because there isn't enough MA energy around for that, and also because his soul can't hold it.
Hell, if anything, Oni-kun is closest to becoming a god out of everyone else.

 

I haven't read the chapters for a while, but I''ll say this. Don't underestimate Kuro the hypocrite.

"This is too much for me to decide, I will sacrifice myself to make you god since you have more will then me"

 

But isn't Shun's soul rather weak comparatively.
And hell, Oni-kun sure has a lot more conviction than him at any rate.

 

If Kuro gives him a piece of his soul, it wouldn't be a problem. Shiro's soul was also originally tiny and weak(weaker than shun even) until she got a piece of a god's soul. Of course Kuro being a weaker god would probably have to fork over a larger piece.

 

So Kuro's soul would have to assimilate with Shun?

Since when has Kuro done anything at all that was a good idea? He only has 2 settings:
1) Be upset at people
2) Defer decisions to others

He was already going to use his soul to power the system afterwards so its dead end either way for his soul.

Technically she started with that piece of God soul, that only raised her to a normal human level, and she pushed herself to godhood on her own, through all her battles.

That is questionable, first of all it isn't only about quantity but also quality. If it was about quantity, that elf(Potemius) would have become a god long ago.

I don't quite remember by how much she was raised, but say that were true... at what human level? Average human? Top human?

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not devaluing Shiro's work. But if she didn't get that piece of god soul, she wouldn't be able to become a god that easily.

 

If she didn't get that piece of a god's soul, she would be dead already.

The whole thing about the god's soul thing is that you can't just force someone to become a god, you have to attain it yourself.

 

The point is that piece of god's soul was the enabler that let her become a god.

As for forcing someone to become a god and attaining it yourself... questionable... that may be true or it might not be true. Think of it as return on investment. You can force someone to become a god if you are willing to pay say 2:1 conversion. In the case of Shiro, the bet was maybe closer to 0.1, which is not enough to turn her into a god but enough to make her path easier.

 

I mean, they'd just die from from strain of soul assimilation and MA energy assimilation.

 

The skill points she started with, and the original lineup of available skills, are pretty good indicator of her soul's quality. How many points do the average people get per level?

 

That is hard to say cause humans and monsters follow a different scheme of per level.

Though in terms of starting points, Shun had the highest.
