Did you guys see the manga? There is this monologue where she thought :
"Or perhaps... I am just a spider, who happens to have my memories. The real 'ME' is right now still in school, taking clases"
And I was like LOL!!! cuz I remembered I just shrugged off that possibility, thinking 'what a delusional spider she is'.

(Oh, can I talk about the manga here? mentioning this in the manga section is kinda spoiler so...)

the light novel should be somewhat different. If i had the raws Id consider doing the light novel for my own enjoyment. Kumo is our goddess and we must promote her in every medium!

I can't come up with many.
Firo is an official Holy Bird. Anri is a God, despite being a fake from the Evil God. And there's also Nepu, goddess for @GM_Rusaku.

 

Looking backwards i prefered the early episodes were she did not have spells but more physical abilities and needed to outwit her enemies with her spider traps and even run away and hide.
Once she got magic i for one felt the fights turned nonsensical and lost more and more interest the longer it has progressed.

The introduction of new characters and the story told from their perspectives did to some extent restore some interest but the other arcs fell disappointing when compared to the MCs.

That being said the first 100 episodes are to me brilliant, love the brutal survival feeling.
But currently ive fallen several episodes behind just cant muster any interest anymore

 

Squee squee squee~~~~ Kumocchi has caught up to the S series... i wonder what Shiro will do?

 

I love Shiro... so socially awkward! and that punk, falling in love with her? And bringing a man into her house? Its getting close to the war, I can't wait!

 

I wonder... after all the Demon King is kinda half Shiro as well

 

I wonder if Balto really died on the S series after knowing he has a thing on Kumo Shiro-sama~

 

It would be quite tragic if that were the case. :{

 

You appreciate the author more when you realize how she presents Kumo's early days to the point where someone can put this in their review after just reaching chapter 40-ish:

First of all the way author writes makes things way too confusing, and do not mistake me, I am not saying mysterious or mind-blowing or will make sense once you learn why things happened kind of confusing, I’m saying it feels like author tries too hard to be some kind of unique creator? and he fails, miserably. The MC has no personality, I felt like I’m reading a actual spider with a human intelligence not a human reborn as a spider oh and before you start be ready for a spider that has more web than its body size inside it…
