I think I saw one of your reviews before but I didn't see that many. Anyways, I went to your reading list and randomly clicked on a few of them and read them.

I would say those are pretty spoiler free and also fairly mild reviews. And I guess it's because I looked at fairly good novels? Because all of the reviews I found were 4/5 except for 1 or 2.

I generally prefer reviews that tosses out both pros and cons, or even pure criticism. They don't have to be right or perfect, as it's their opinion. But I find those reviews bring another perspective into the picture than generic ones. At the same time, those reviews generally touch on some spoilers or more about the novels than others. I don't want to be offensive or anything but I didn't look at all of your reviews so I'm only basing on what I saw. So feel free to ignore me. Some of them, like LLS's review, are pretty useless. It doesn't really tell the reader anything that isn't covered in the genre, tags, and synopsis. Some of them tell me a bit more and are rather useful. For example, look at your Sendai Yuusha wa Inkyou Shitai review. You tell us that we probably won't get any attachments to the characters and the loli character. And that's great. If I read the before I went in and read it myself, I wouldn't have read it because that's pretty much what I felt and I threw that novel out the window afterwards. Another example is Zhan Long's review explained a bit about some of the author's problem.

I don't know the ratio but some are pretty much useless as reviews. Others that add one or two insights. And then there are those that are fairly useful.

Yes, I also realize the fact that many novels are similar and there's absolutely no point in writing an unique one for each one. Just look at all those xianxia that's like a copy of each other.

It's debatable though. Some people are fine with a short blur. Others, like myself, like a longer more comprehensive one.

Yes, I read your reviews, and they're good. Like some other said, I felt that you don't criticize enough, but the other side of the coin is that the reviews became fairly objective. So all's well, keep writing reviews please ^^
