like title says, from the novel info page, you could go to the LCD by clicking the text bubble speech on top of release list. some LCD OP have link to the novel page, but as the pagination increase, the link becomes obsolete? requesting a link like the text bubble icon to be created. some novel, were 'renamed' as per request of the latest/current translator, resulting to changes in url. so unless the OP of the LCD update the links, it will remain broken (because it points to the old-before-rename url). if you found any, hit the report button, or just quote/pm the OP of said LCD and ask him/her to update it
actually what i was suggesting was something more along the line of creating a permalink somewhere like in the pagination bar maybe after the go to first unread put a back to novel page button/link or something... i know, with all the LCD in existence, its gonna be a lot to work and check the workings on, but at least the i hope my suggestion are heard of and be considered... thanks though for the reply.
This is not really a feasible option. Main site and forum are not fully integrated so even if by some chance there was a way to add an outside link to each thread, they'd have to be added manually. For each LCD. A better choice would be adding the link in the OP and getting this addon installed, but you'd first need to answer this question: Is this needed enough to justify paying 15USD that this addon costs? ~~ You can also install an opensearch engine for NU on your browser. This way, you only need to select a novel's title > right-click > search for it on NU. It's not as unfeasible as you make it sound, since all LCDs have links on the novel pages... I just don't think it's worth Tony's time to make that.
It's one thing to make it possible to add links to a page you created (even if it started off as wordpress), it's another thing to add a place to different links to each thread you create (in a specific forum). Especially, if it's to be done automatically or to be required before you can successfully post the thread. Besides, LCD links have been added to novel pages over a long period of time, and no - not all of them have links. That's precisely why the LCD merge thread exists. Of course, almost everything can be done if one is willing to put in the effort, but this doesn't seem like a feature that's worth it. Which is why I said it doesn't seem to be a feasible option.
