Setting is historical. MC is a somewhat spoiled, rich young master (son of the prime minister) who seems to be a lot smarter than he looks. ML is a prince, general, or both. Their meeting begins with a misunderstanding since ML was half-nekkid from diving into a pond to save a drowning person at the prime minister's estate. MC caught only the tail end of that and though ML was a servant he could order into bed (LOL). ML went along with him and ended up spanking MC. ML is sort of fascinated despite himself because MC's cute. Plus, ML caught sight of the book on MC's desk -- it's technically not allowed because it speaks against or reveals stuff that isn't allowed to spread about the current government. Skimmed the ending, which is happy and involves MC and ML living together and adopting a kid. Pfft MC got spanked, haha, nice. So MC is smarter than he looks hmm, can't wait to see those scenes then always love those type of scenes and plot.
Little bits that I remember: Spoiler -Mc drawing pics of ML. -MC thinking of being the gong (and failing miserably) -MC leaving his country to pursue ML (He carries with him the box which contained ML pics) -MC saving ML's son and taking care of him since he's wounded and later on being saved by ML. -MC purchasing a yellow book bc he no idea how to do it -ML had 2 child. 1 boy (the crown prince) and 1 girl (from a servant who was ambitious and climbed ML bed when he was drunk) -ML's daughter scavenge for food on where MC resided and was scolded by servants. MC found out and gave her food. -MC admonishes ML for not taking care of his own daughter. -ML's children likes MC bc MC took care of them -at the end they adopted a child from ML's family side that was just given birth to. Oh and they were married. And there was this Prince that later on became King that was in love with MC that always sends MC some gifts which ML always destroyed. MC was amused. There's a lot missed in there especially the plot.
So the ML had kids with sb else instead of the MC.... i know its not mpreg but still... Kinda bad tasting...children with sb else.... Is he at least a widower?
Wait- he is married n has a wife n concobines but STILL pursues the MC?! Is he a friggn pokemoncollector?!
MC cared about ML's children in a lot of ways such as mending the bonds of father and child and practically lots of things a mother would do for her child. About ML's daughter, since she's a child of a social climber(?) ML didn't name her which resulted in the daughter being neglected by her supposed to be caretakers. She's not really looking for food in a trash but in the residence kitchen but she got caught by a maidservant and was being scolded i think but MC came to the rescue and gave her food. (MC didn't know she's ML's daughter yet) NO ML was not married and doesn't have any concubine. And according to ML's advisor/friend the number of people that's been with ML can be counted with a hand. Also it was MC who pursues ML not the other way around. And MC pursuing ML was a really fun read. Btw this is MTL and I've read a long time ago so might not be accurate
Well the son was the heir so he is legitimate but if I remember correctly his mother was already dead so... As for daughter's mom... I totally forgot
