Shounen Maid, the story is full of hearwarming and comedic scenes. The final episode is a bit lacking though
Don't know if Ergo Proxy is widely known, but a lot of my friends never heard of it. It's my favorite anime ever!

Scryed - The story may be a bit generic and plain. But the MC and the one he faces are pretty likable. Effectively, if you like action, it is one of the best animes( a masterpiece even within its niche). As the MC says "SHUT UP AND FIGHT!". Everything is solved through force and beating it down. It gets a lot of flack for its story being a bit straight forward and simplistic. But that is like blaming a comedy for lack of tragedy or a tragedy for lack of comedy. If you are looking for badass MC with a badass rival beating each other half to death simply because they can't stand each others guts, this is the anime to watch.

When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace is a pretty fun slice of life kind of anime if you're into that sort of thing.
